What the Fox!?

Here's my new project, 88 VW Fox 2 door wagon in alpine white. 85k original miles, 1 owner.
Could run and drive.. but thats not why I bought it.

I've been looking for one of these things for a long time now, and just when I was starting to seriously look into MK1 rabbits, this fox showed up in my backyard. I put a deposit down site unseen (unless you count the crapy craigslist pictures) and drove out to Fayetteville with my friends from Audub Motorsport.

Here's how she sat:






















Now my original plan was to source a TDi motor, but then a FWD FSI made it's self available for a price I couldn't pass up... but then this happened:

I was devastated, I loved my b5. The insurance company totaled it. Sooo I bought it back.
I used the insurance $$$ and bought this as my new DD



2007 Audi A3 2.0t fwd DSG w/ 65k

now that I have a perfectly good 1.8t and a manual quattro system on my hands.. plans changed... The fox will be receiving both of these things.

ah I forgot the aesthetic aspects,

This is going to be a sürfwagon.
Those plans for the moment are
Custom roofrack/basket. Slammed on custom coils, sitting on either Schmidt th-lines (blame the stock hubcaps) or VW bus wheels.
Keep it Alpine white with the poop brown interior. Shave the bay. Shave a few other things..
Along with a few plans I'd rather keep a surprise.

Thanks man. I took the measurements and with some work I should be able to get the interior to fit. I haven't decided if I'm actually going to do it though. My B5's interior is MINT.. so I wouldn't mind selling it at the same time..
