Thanks.. That means alot from someone who most likely knows tons more than me about photography. I just know basic stuff but i dont really try to hard lol. Im an electrician so wiring a new stereo together doesnt scare me at all. Im to lazy to tear the dash apart to find a fuse for a stereo that probably sucks ass anyway.

The gauge cluster lights... theres a rheostat that is a combination push odo reset and turn light dimmer. Either it needs to be cleaned, or the coil in the stat is damaged. Mercedes in Canada says they are discontinued.

It sure feels that way. Some days I **** it and others I love it. Joy's of owning an old car i guess.

Yeah that's what my searching shows me as well. Once this crappy weather where I'm at settles down Ill get started fixing thing's like that. Cold weather sucks all motivation out of my body to work on my cars.

No real big updates as of yet. My GF and I just moved into a new house January 1st so i've been tied up with moving stuff. I've just been driving it and fixing small things I have to along the way. A few weeks ago the loose alternator belt snapped and while replacing it (again) I realized that the PO had lost and botched fixed the alternator bracket spacer. The entire bracket looked like it was beat on with a hammer and ran over from multiple belt changes over the years so I had to remove it and straighten it best i could. With a straight bracket and a proper spacer my belts no longer squeak like crazy and It's fixed for good The cold weather here has been making the car hard to near impossible to start in the mornings. I installed all new glow plugs which helped alot and I did order a factory Mercedes block heater which is yet to be installed. Sorry for no update pic's on repairs. I promise I'll try harder I will leave you guy's with a picture edit comparison of a photo I took in my old driveway the last day of moving. It's a cell shot I played with for like a minute.
