Seems to depend much on the spot you are, literally no snow on Lauttasaari when I left work but 10cm at home. Disgusting. I still got some work left on my dd before I can start grinding the M5.

    Rear brakeline..
    Mockup.

    DONE!

Other than that it was crap of a day..

came to garage it was like this:

    but driveable on big roads..

    when i was leaving ...

So ~10 to 15cm of snow.. so i had to take be bmw on the back to get home.. and what was nice it has 3.0 turbo diesel engine and 4wd and winter tyres.. but the issue it wont blow any hot / warm air at all!!! so heater control valve stuck propably. or something like that.. was a cold ride home.. altho i got home safely.

Maybe on rear.. would be ok to run linelock on rear with solenoid, i could lock it either in brake or brakeless mode. for burnouts and for keeping the car still.. will see in future.. and if i do, i will hide it somewhere in rear where no one can see it and never talk about it again

    Thanks heres more...

Final version of brakelines.. this is 2nd version overall, i like how they are now, and best of all both front lines are 1 piece lines.

Well its CAN-BUS so, the display has 'flags' to pickup from CAN-bus stream that ecu gives out. pretty much same techology that new cars use on all instrument cluster.

This means no double sensors on engine and so on. so information ecu gets i can use on the monitor.

but answer to your question, im not doing the coding. either on ecu or the display.

Umm.. today i got something you guys may like..

first i got some parts for brakes..

then i tested a new tool that ive had for sometime..

After couple of tries i think its quite ok

Then followed by that, first brakeline ever bent.. id say it came out pretty ok.

and after while couple more appeared.

Not quite ready yet, im not 100% sure of how i will run the lines. but so far so good. maybe couple tweaks here and there and should be pretty ok.

oh yea and next up i just got email about my upcoming instruments.. This will be mounted inside stock instrumentcluster, where stock rev counter would be..

Very simple and on my eye, will go ok with the "80's & 90's" look that i want.

    Screen 1(default)

    Screen 2-EGT

    Screen 3-Temp

    Screen 4-Pressure

All that data is coming straight from ECU, using CAN. so temps are refreshed 10times / second, lambda and things like that 30times / second
