Happy holidays for everyone.
Im trying out parts on trial and error.. and bustin my ball to get these front brakes and parts fitted.
not much luck has been on my side..
Seems nice eh? well yea, but the disc is too small and it wont clear the caliper or the balljoint... so im going to need to buy another set of discs and lowercontrolarms.

Sorry for spamming, but i just realized that i have one set of W124 E320 brake calipers in storage, all i need is to glassblast them and paint them for mint finish. i have new pads on them and such. so change the discs to W124 E320 model and im pretty much set.
Altho they weight bit more than the Brembo ones.. and smaller pistons.. but its about 400 cheaper to test them. than try to fit these brakes.. so dont be amazed if in next photos there is different brakes again

This setup is about 1mm from the balljoint.. this would be fixed with grinder.. and some paint to finish it off.. but the previous setup would have sat ~6mm more towards the balljoint.. so bit unreal to grind that much and get away with it..
anyways..
everything fits nicely.. altho i might need to change that LCA still, but no worries i got use for these ones for the other benz

Soo. Things happen and parts fail.
Starting this update with this.
My black benz ignitionkey seized, pretty common problem on these old benzes, time just runs out of the part and out of nowhere one morning it wont work.
Well i found way to take it off.. altho these late models has shit ton on "anti theft" proofing. anyway the steeringlock + ignitionkey unit endup looking like the picture.
While on the work of changing that part, i did try to weld on the lock unit, on this point i fried my ECU <- yea dumfuk, anyway i had spare one. changed it car fired up. and again working.
After ecu change it had some missfiring issue, but that fixed by it self.(just by driving)
This was my past week on Car hobby. hell of a week.
