My never ending search for lows.

Back on to the first guard I was working on.

Welded back over some of the spots I missed



Cleaned up the welds.


Then I CRC etch primed it. This stuff is rad. Protects the metal from rust. But you can also weld straight over it. Wish I knew about it earlier!



Took it for another drive around the block. Was still rubbing... :/




Then I had an idea.

Maybe it's just the fronts rubbing.

Put on the smaller weds wheels, got the flatmates to jump in for extra weight. It was all good!



Now to try get the guards tidied up as much as I can before using any bog.

Started on the other side.

Gave the paint a good roughing up.



Got ready for painting. Just the Etch primer here to protect the metal.

Started with the bog.

Probably laid it on too thick…



Started sanding it right down.

Still heaps to do. Then hopefully just finish with some touch ups.
