I like where it's going, but from my wife's ownership of S13/14, that car is best suited for parts if you are not putting it on a rotisserie, the rust near the main channel is an indication of how far it has gone.

onto updates
i started doing maintenance: starting with the stupid heater. I pulled out the heater resistor card and took a look at it, and the connects were corroded so i just sorta scratched it off and my heater blower has been sorta working. Decided to take a look at my floors to see how they were looking while i had the passenger side seat out. not to shabby



then I did my spark plugs. i think this photo should be self explanitory


then i was driving to school and some girl through a small animal sized stuffed animal out the window, i ran over it and it broke my bumper where it was zip tied in so i had to rezip tie it



then i went to do my valve cover gasket, and painted my valve cover while i was at it. black was the color chosen and i think it looks pretty cool


and then we went to install it and BOOM


they gave me a random gasket. not stoked on that at all, because everythings closed. so now my cars stuck half way in my buddies garage for the night and im going to a dealership to grab a new gasket tomorrow. also im going to ottawa ( four hours away) the day after. so yeah. fun.

thanks guys im really glad you like it. im loving the way the cars looking.

bought a bunch of shit to do some much needed maintenance:

got some spark plugs, oil, tools, things for alignment. grabbing a new heater fan soon. should be back to spec soon. The weather has turned below -20 here in Ontario and my car is ****** it.

I totally get why people dont winter s-chassis. its not to preserve or save them from salt, its so we dont end up ****** them.

Honestly i thought numbers on DD's were always kind of dumb, but you have proven that to be 95% wrong. It actually suits your car really well, although I don't know if i'd do it to mine if I had one.

I got myself some ruca and a bunch of socks.

full circle ruca, but got them on the cheaps and apparently they should work fine on s14 so ill give it a try and let y'all know how it goes (s-chassis guys will be at the edge of their seats)

Truly you were right. Although you have a overall good looking car. But there are tons of hidden rust. Must have been waitin to surprise you. LOL

yeah it was pretty bad when i got it. glad i did all the rust removal, its holding up well so far, but i know in about a year or two the rockers will need to be rebuilt again (thats why i just tacked them on, sunroofs are a factory downgrade)
