  • update...

It's slowly getting there... Slower than I had thought, but progress is still being made daily.

This weekend we acquired the garage beside us for storage and other automotive activities (detailing and studio )

The shortened oil pan is on and its so perfect... I pretty much have air cooled clearance out back now!

The fuel pump and filter are connected, tank is in. We have to pressurize the coolant system to check for leaks and if all is well, coolant will go in.

After that I will be calling the guy over that is going to check over the engine and ecu issues and hopefully get it to fire up once and for all!

    Cheers!

          • Update.

The coolant system holds water!! The shortened oil pan is on and full of oil! The fuel system is now complete and the tank has fuel!!

I had to get 15mm spacer for the front wheels... no more rubbing the bottom trailing arm and I have full turning with these 15x6 phone dials!!

Last night we tried firing the car. Still nothing though. BUT we determined that one of the fuel injectors is dead and the spark plugs need to be changed.. They got fouled pretty bad.

I might have a lead on some new injectors this week and I'll get new plugs as well.

            Cheers!

            • This build is so wicked. Love the exhaust, stance and paint. Can't wait to see it finished.

              • New tie rod boots for the new tie rods that destroyed themselves just from sitting.

What are those red boots? Nolthane or something? My rubber boots split far to often. Are they the solution?

                  • I think they're polyurethane. Here in Aus, I find that if you don't call stuff nolathane most places will sell you rubber... That's just how effective the Nolathane brand marketing was I guess
