      • This weekend we did some work... hell, its been everyday doing work for the last couple of weeks... The sun finally came out to play and we had yet to see the roof in the sun. So after acouple days of getting some wiring sorted at the fuse panel, getting the park lights and fog lights all finished, we pushed the car outside again. I also had a local Pin Stripe guy come by an stripe the seam where the green and the white met.

We are going to start on the down pipe so we can get the wide band in place... that's basically the last sensor for the engine. Then we can put coolant in and run it.

Thanks again for the kind words and watching the process!

            • over the last couple of days we did more work.

The brake lines going from the fluid resevior to the Master cylinder had some rubber hoses that joined to the brake lines together. They were old and cracked and were leaking badly. So I grabbed some new rubber hose and fixed that issue.

After the brake line I cleaned up (literally wiped dirt and dust) the front "luggage" compartment. and started to get the fuel stuff sorted. I need to get a bracket to mount the inline fuel pump and then the tank can go in for good.

I still have yet to paint the shroud piece...

As well, Jesse decided it was about time to get working on the down pipe for the turbo. The ECU needs the wide band in place, so we got to it.

A friend had come by earlier and dropped of some mandrel bent exhaust tubing that he had left over from building his exhaust on his bagged full size. He said use whatever you need! THANK YOU!

When we both come back from our little (seperate) adventures away next week, we will finish the exhaust.

Also, the whole time jesse was cutting and welding, I was filming and taking photos with my actual camera... so better photos of all this will emerge soon... im just to impatient at the moment.

              • This is damn awesome to be honest with you.

Will definitely add this to my list of builds to watch. I dig the engine swap and paint job, this Ghia is going to turn heads around the world.

                Love it man.

                  • Badass project. I am hoping to see a set of D90's on this at the end!
                    Keep up the great work.

                          • Update...

What's been happening? a bunch of stuff!

I went to mexico for a week at the end of April for my sisters wedding.

Since then, I got my 2 new front wheels... 15x6 et 52 Phone Dials.

                            I got my Steering wheel!

                            The back bumper is on

                            Shocks are in

Gas tank has a return line now

New tie rod boots for the new tie rods that destroyed themselves just from sitting.

                            and Exhaust is done )

We had to ditch the original routing for the coolant line due to the down pipe being in the way so this weekend we will get that all buttoned up and then put some water in the system. Hopefully a local Haltech Guru is going to come by and try to get the car running.

I want to hear this motor with the stinger!

                            Cheers!
