A couple of things to update.

Lip got destroyed. I manged to go back to the site of death and scavenge a good chunk of whatever was ripped off.

    Aftermath.

I figured with a big enough chunk like the one I recovered I could fix it. So I tried my hand at it. Bought some glass bondo and went to town, the end result wasn't too bad.

Sprayed it over with some plastidip to give it that authentic look, lol.

It lasted a good couple of days, took the beating quite well but the inevitable was bound to happen.

SO, after that all happened, I took it off and went back to the HD lip. I just wasn't satisfied with the look of that lip anymore though.

I decided to grab the real deal. Carbon fiber version of the lip.

A couple of nights later, I got popped for loud exhaust, but I can't blame them as It's currently straight piped to a themal r&d tailpipe.

He let me off with a fix it ticket so I've ordered a MilSpec 200 Cell Cat, and a Vibrant Ultra Quite Resonator in hopes of it passing the "fix it" test.

I'm also surprised he didn't ask me to open the hood, because I've been the passenger in plenty of cars that got pulled over for the same thing and they were told to, so in fear of that happening, I've decided to throw on my aerocatch locking hood pins.

It was the scariest thing cutting into my hood, the only thing that got me through it was knowing it wasn't the carbon fiber hood being cut yet.

As I've already said once, excuse me for the shitty iPhone pictures. So i'd like to finally upload some pictures that I took earlier today from my fathers pretty nice camera.

    And here's one with my brother's E28.

Next time, I hack up my exhaust again in hopes of making it quieter.

I know man, I actually got quite bummed out when I heard that. He's the reason I kept this car through all the shit it's been through. Just ordered a sticker in his memory.

Rest in peace you glorious bastard.

Anyway yeah, I'm going to be making a sort of "half tub" to replace the stuck guards with the vents.

And for the battery I won't need anything if I get the quick release which I might do because I take my bumper off quite often.
If not I already have jumper terminals, but I don't know where to locate them.

Nice location for the battery, are you putting a cover or something over it to keep like dirt and sand off of it bc from memory the inner fenders have vents in the right behind where that battery is going to be.

That's one weird spot to place a battery. I approve!

PS: I hope you never have to jumpstart the car Or do you have a smart solution for that too?

I'll get rid of them soon, no worries. They work for now though.

And I looked into the idea of a 4g64 block a while back, but being a shitty fwd, all that added torque really wouldn't help.
I also heard they were more "fragile.", and couldn't rev as high.
I'll trust my fully built 4g63 for now lol.

    Anyway Turkey Day update.

When I was leaving work, I noticed my gauge light slowly dim. Didn't quite catch it, but here's a picture of my view. I need a new sensor for my boost gauge.

When I got home, I saw my lip beat up. So it had to get some botox.

Still looks cracked, but it's one piece from below.

While I was fixing the lip, my friend showed up. His car is now white plastidip.

On to my light dim problem. I figured it was probably because I relocated my battery to the trunk.

I decided to move it back to the front, but keep it hidden still. I had to make a tray for it.

    Mocked it up.

    Finished it up today.

And this is how it fits now. Wired with 0g instead of 4g to the back.

And now, she goes back to the garage. No fender because I'm going to make new grounds tomorrow.

    Time to eat some turkey.
    Happy Thanksgiving Guys

Quick update! Got the lip on. It's really nice for being an eBay replica of a carbon fiber lip.

I didn't want to scrape it so I installed it on the street lol.

My brothers truck vs my toy car.

And I also installed my whale dick intake piping.

    Close up.

That's all for now. No white plastidip, friend decided to paint his white instead. -.-

lmao, it's because one of my friends just dipped his car and he has enough left over paint (he went overboard on buying paint) to dip it.

He decided to stay grey even though he bought all the necessary paint to go white.

It'd be something to do this weekend haha.
