Try messaging this guy through ebay, he is on S14 as well but obviously......he seems to be a solid source for all things E30 M3 rare and euro. User name mevo2. If you want leather all mine was done by a German named Alexander Lenz I need S14 to find the link to his site.

I always think 18s look cartoonishly big on the E30 but who wants every car to look the same anyways.

Agreed. I'll try to make it down this year.
I wanted to avoid things that cant be undone, also I don't care for stretch and poke I guess I am showing my age lol. I really cant wait to see your car come together. I got my oil changed yesterday fixed my loose hood latch and replaced my rotting rubber throttle cable bushings with billet aluminum ones. Gonna put on my vintage sheepskin seat coverts in case I get a couple more fall drives in before it's away for winter.

Thank you. It's a silver powder matched to the factory BBS silver.

Yes these pics are from S14.net in a thread started by Conrad. He is the one building those wheels. S14 is down right now but hopefully will be back up soon.

DERe30 is on to somthing with the laser etched mesh pattern on the turbo fans, hoolyyy fukkin awewsome!!!
Original 5x120 stuff is getting rare these days. I was lucky to find these 212s even though the halves were shot.

Cant wait to see the car on the rs in the sunlight!
[quote=DER E30;1218628]What is an alternative to a printed vinyl that is acceptable? Laser etched or machined faces?

We've been considering machined faces but want contrasting color without doing another sanding or machine pass over top, so for now we're printing the graphics

I get a little rubbing but nothing as bad as you are seeing on your rear and I haven't rolled my fenders as I suspect you had to do. I wanted to stay a bit more pure in my setup so coilovers and rolled fenders were out I did Bilstein/H&R Sports and ST sways along with Turners weld in subframe reinforcement kit. In retrospect I should have done the H&R Race springs the ride is very compliant and a touch more low would look good.

I did feel the RS was overdone but after two+ years with a more modern wheel I caved and bought the BBS because the E30 truly looks best with a nice polished lip and a period correct wheel.

That said, I would totally run these, even in 5 lug configuration:

Thanks guys. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to worn out or broken plastic parts. Kind of a slippery slope with this stuff though, I need to find a new front console since it looks old by comparison.

I'm actually really glad I decided to go with the meaty tire look. It'll never be a DTM car but I can at least try to reference one.

Was getting nervous at this point

RSs may be played out, but there's a very good reason for that.

We're not committing to any dates yet, but that's our goal. Pricing will totally depend on any changes we have to make in material choice, but we're on track to release these at about half the cost of vintage fans. It is likely we'll produce these in very limited numbers

Another driver of costs are the graphics applied over top. They're very expensive to make properly, since we don't think a traditional digitally printed vinyl is acceptable in this case.
