Small update. Decides against another dip, but instead on a gloss wrap. Suggest a color you'd think would look sick, gloss only no mattes though. Also the color has to match a red interior since that will get re done over winter break with the vinyl....and I may be picking up a pretty cool daily next week.

If the interior is going red, I'd wrap the car a deep red/black. IMO.

Haven't updated but I did go with a similar color to that. Awaiting samples so I can make my decision. Wide band is in, and my tuner needs to hurry the fk up.

Edit: I also need to a drive to Virginia to pick up my new daily...an 83 benz 300d. Best part, it's free.

About 155 awhp since my tuner needs to hurry up and tune it. Car is still on 8spi. Once we turn it up to around 28 aiming for high 400s.

I wish I knew about RS6s from SRM when I did my F21s, for the same price I would have absolutely have done those. More power is always more better.

So I was ready to order wrap, and a set of bBrides then this happened.

so timing belt randomly snapped, how? I got no clue. Plan now is to get the benz back up to speed and do the normal maintance, tear the heads off the s4 and proceed. Only optimism I have is that the car shut down at idle, hopefully the pistons see no damage. The heads will 99% need to be redone so they will get 2.8 heads with supertech valves to rev this whore out. If the bottom end was touched I'm gonna go balls deep and order a gt28 eliminator kit, re do the trans, interior, and drive it three years from now. Stay tuned to see a w123 get chopped, painted, and semi restored...semi

Maybe this weekend I'll tackle the heads on Saturday and sunday, either way it's kinda sad i only got to experience it at 18psi which was 50% wwaste gate duty, even at that it kept up with a 440awhp sti, with two people with me. If anyone knows anything about w123's give me a quick schooling. Best place to get glow plugs? Shocks? Rotors?

I'll keep you all updated along the way

Autohauz az, and peachparts (pelican parts now) fastlane. Say far away from autolite brand glow plugs. Go with bilstein HD shocks if you plan on lowering the 123. My rotors are zimmerman from Napa, nothing but good things to say about them. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I'm on my fourth W123 currently, and restored my first two before selling them.
