heres some more stuff, the cars up and running, but needs some wiring done, and the carb base needs replacing...

new freeze plugs in, turns out the engine is a 170 ci, which means an extra 20 or so horse power, and a way better sound.

heres a video of her running, she sounds super raw during revving, i think im gonna leave the exhaust stock for right now... i'll poke it out of the fender later...

heres my super sweet gas pedal. its a gate hinge...

sweet interior shot... i'll be having the interior redone soon, im certain you guys will love what the interior will be made of....

okay, updates time. car comes home tomorrow, she officially runs and drive. the electric fan switch still wont turn itself on, because my mechanic is being a dipshit. and i'm just gonna wire in an old fan light switch or a guitar potentiometer to control the fan.. i need to look through my boxes of goodies and pull stuff out.

okay, so somewhere in this box is my new shifter, light switch pull, and other pieces that go along with that... this is all brass lamp parts from the 1930's-1970's...

and heres the interior breakdown.. this is a 1970's coleman canvas sleeping bag... it has ducks on it and its awesome. after the whole interior is in, i plan on waxing the canvas, it'll give it a deeper richer color, and added durability.

and heres the duck off set pattern, it'll be a tuck and roll interior, with duck/waxed army green canvas

of course this interior is gonna be a while out, the car has a lot of basics that need done, new brake fluid, hub rebuilds, new tires, heater rebuild, the window needs to be put on its track, some of the electrical needs to be redone, and the hand brake needs fixing.

interior should be interesting to say the least... the olive interior color should be awesome.

thanks! we just ended up using the old gas tank for right now, but i ran out of gas before i was able to get back, so im gonna have to modify this one to fit... its gonna take some work, but it should work without a problem...

also, the car is now officially in my drive way, so suspension work and putting the car back together starts next week. i also picked up some vintage commercial radials from a tire shop near my store for 40 bucks, they dont match, but i dont really care.it propped the back up a little bit, so it raked forward for right now. also some guy who owned it before me, added suspension hoists in the front, with spring bracers, and same with the back. shouldnt be a problem to get them off, but its kind of annoying none the less.

engine update: the engine is running and driving fine, the battery needs some charging, so im gonna let it sit and run for a while, the generator seems to be doing okay, i'll probably replace it soon, and the gas pump needs replacing, also an easy fix as i already have the part. the hardest part is going to be finding a thermal fan switch for the electric fan that kicks on around 180ish. this should all be done soon.

update: i drove it around the block twice, and the brakes went out, i had to crash into my trash cans to stop... car is fine, gate is fine. trash cans, also are fine.

went ahead and bought all new brake cylinders, planning to work on the car tomorrow and get them replaced.

pics, car runs, drives, stops, and has lights now... nothing as far as the exterior or lowering it yet, that will happen once the brake lights work, and ive figured out the the ignition... still doesnt look bad...

and my favorite pic of it so far... i havent really driven it, it needs a bunch more work done until it works well...
