Wow! I really appreciate all the support guys, its nice to be on a site that appreciates fabrication and what it takes to do something that doesn't just get bolted on.

My photos were temporarily unavailable, it appears unbeknownst to me that Photo Bucket has a bandwidth cap on the free account!

I guess the ploy worked cause they now have my 2.99/month until I can devise a plan to ditch their services.

LOL, parttimeprojectionist, I think with the right wording anything can sound complicated and official! Haha.

So I decided that I was not fond of the Amber corner markers and started to look for aftermarket alternatives. Unfortunately everything I read showed the aftermarket units turn yellow. I found a guy who was willing to part ways with his old yellowed clear marker lights for the cost of shipping. I hoped that just the outer lens was yellowed and that the clear reflector was still OK. Then I ordered some TYC OEM replacement corners for my car that were said to be made of better plastic as to avoid yellowing. The plan was to split both sets and put the clear reflectors into the TYC housings and lenses.

One of the yellowed cracked assemblies; you can see that the reflector, if it’s yellow, is not nearly as bad as the lens.

I dig it think it really cleans her up. Next up EDC and Sound, then who knows…quest for flushness and more low?

nice! Thankfully the ones on my Towncar are clear for the most part. I'd like to do a full clear but cops are anal here about having Amber in the front corners.

First off, thanks to all for the compliments, it means a lot coming from guys/(Girls?) whose rides and workmanship are, as far as I'm concerned, top notch!

First off, this is neat, factory ride height vs better ride height!

And look what I found, didn’t buy, but WOW!

I have played with the air now for a while and have begun to long for more air faster so I can play with the switches. Options include buying a second and possibly third AZ compressor and then finding somewhere to house them all, then upgrading my battery and alternator to handle the massive loads, run giant wires and relays… or EDC. A good friend has a Dakota on bags and he runs a Yorky engine driven compressor, its fast. He has a couple lying around and so we decide to see if it will fit. Not a chance, I’ve never been exposed to such an underpowered oversized engine until the 4.6l mod. So should I swap in an LSX, make some real power and have lots of room for a turbo and Yorky? LOL, No not until this things shits its pants. Soooo, enter the Sanden style compressor. I did some research and found guys have had really good luck with them converted to grease as compressors. As you may or may not know they are designed to be oiled by the oil suspended in the refrigerant charge under normal circumstances where as the York’s have a crank case. My buddy grabbed me one from his work and we began to try and find room for it, WOW even this thing seems as though it won’t fit anywhere. OK, finally, wait for it… right there!

                    Cardboard mock up

                    Solidworks model

                    Bracket mounted for testing

Bushing spun and pulleys turned and faced to make mating concentrically a breeze

Hood clearance after forward and reverse torque up, this is to the hood pad too, which means in my case there is about ¾-1 inch of clearance on the other side of the hood pad

                    Comp mounted with belt on

                    Its going round and round!

Under my hood was dirty in those pics, here is what it normally looks like

Now I need some braided lines made up, find a place to mount the auto drain water separator, plumb in with existing AZ, wire so AZ or EDC selectable, Disassemble Sanded and rebuild with grease mod’s, finish welding bracket, powder coat bracket, paint Sanden, and so on…

                      Nice work on that bracket.

A guy built a sleeper turbo Town Car (same 4.6 2v) and he runs 11's in the 1/4 mile.

I always enjoy a build when a mech E is behind it. So much more cad and creative ways of doing stuff.
Thanks for sharing, I always wanted to see an interceptor on bags and this is pretty close.

No need to swap a GM engine in there....keep it Ford. Those modular V8s are stout platforms and can make a buttload of power.
