This week I finished the lathe job of my BBS LM custom wheel.

    DSC_7003

The right one was from with wheels, it was damage so I bought new one right side.
but the new one is for the RX, LM-R and etc.
I choose this type 3D gold because it will match with the finished of my wheel.

    DSC_7005

You could see the different, the retainer ring is bigger. So I need to lathe the center step inside new.
    DSC_6994

The top is the original and bottom is already lathe to bigger hole. I had tested install, it's perfect fit.

    DSC_7033

Also the outer step of center disc I need to lathe to fit with SSR barrel.

    DSC_7008

It's just a little lathe for new step, and so amazing the hole for split is exactly same.
My plan will drill the new hole but it's perfect match so lucky me.

This is the finished of the lathe job. Everything was done perfect.
I send these wheels to the shop for finished, the center will clean send back to me for painting. The barrel will polish and finished with..... ?
So the final spec. is wide=10" lip=7" for the front/ wide=14" lip=7.5" for the rear. and off set !!! hahaha

    Enjoy guys

Hello guys, it's Friday night here now. This is live from Thailand haha

Yesterday my front wheel just arrived. It's SSR Angle 5x112 R18 front 8" and rear 10".
I will use only 10" to be my front wheels.
    image

    First removing the tires.

    image

    And test fit first haha

    image

From testing fit my plan would not miss.
You may have a question, Why I have to swap the windows in different brand?
    The answer is BUDGET!
The first set BBS LM, it's junk wheel I got it in very cheap, I combine 4 wheels to 2 wheels 14". So I left center windows for 2 to be front.
I try to find the cheap BBS LM 2 wheel to be my front but the requirement is 10"-11"
So that the price will be high.
I searching the wheel data from internet and these SSR just on sale at Yahoo.japan.
I try to find the back side of SSR Angle and estimate just eyes and it should be fit with LM thought.
So I got these set about 570$ include shipping.

And tonight is Friday I started my experiment as this video

    Enjoy Guys Cheers!

If you look for normal 1 piece rotors in 360mm take the OEM from the C63 AMG.
    A pair cost around 350 $

The 2 piece OEM AMG rotors in 360mm cost around 1.100 $ each

Maybe these parts are an option for you. I switched to the 1 piece after my 2 piece rotors were done. Because for the price of one 2 piece rotor I can use around eight 1 piece rotors.
Definitely the better deal for me

    2 Piece C63 AMG rotor:

Holy shit! it massive nice <3
    love it man!
But I got these rotors 4 pcs. 1,100 $ include shipping.
Btw. your brake is really nice.

    front = 360 mm and rear = 340 mm. with 18" wheels
So I try to find the used rotors 350 - 360 mm. but it so expensive.
And these rotors set from R35 GTR 380 mm. 2 PCS. with aluminum hub is cheaper.
The spec. was nice and little bigger diameter, we need to lathe to reduce diameter to 360 mm.
It just 10 mm for each radius.
I think it gonna be ok, I will keep you update guys.
