hey guys, haven't had much of a chance to update things on here since the build was completed, I have been busy getting all the little things done and making sure the car runs like It should. I've had some good news and been offered a magazine shoot for Performance BMW in Decembers issue which has made the build worth while. Here's some recent pics of the car in its current form, looking to put 5mm spacers up front and 10mm at back to really give it the wide track. Opinion's welcome

You should respray the inner part of the fenders matte black. To give them that OEM look.

yea the fronts will come out 10mm and the rears I'm going to test on 20mm but probably play safe with 15mm

This is looking evil, had my doubts at first but I've been proved wrong.

Honestly, I'm not caring for the arches where they meet the bumper, as well as the gloss black trim. Other than that, I can dig it.

Don't take this as a diss, but I don't think that car is PBMW worthy, (I dont think my car is magazine worthy either) but those arches really do need a lot of work. They look bowed in pictures because the radius was probably altered to get them to fit. Doesnt look like you pie cut them to change the radius if you did indeed do that. Or they're just cheap flares and the mold sucks. One thing I've learned from my own dabbling in bodywork is that anything unsecured like you have on the rear of the rear arches, the part that hangs down, is going to crack or rub on the paint etc. All that shit is constantly vibrating while you're driving.

You should seriously consider fixing these things, you're going to have to re-do it anyway if you plan on it looking nice for a while.

I can appreciate what you mean there, its different, I sent them some pics and they are interested, the front arch moulds were shitty eBay one's they've been altered beyond belief and that was the best that could be done with them, I am thinking of ways to re shape them again but that's further down the line , in regards to the rear piece coming over the bumper, I have siliconed the arch between the arch and the bumper so that is stiff and doesn't vibrate at all. please remember this is an on-going project and all ideas are welcomed , just please make it constructive unlike some douchebag saying , "arches are wrong "

The execution is far better on this than some of the cars featured on PBMW.

OP, love the amount of work that has gone into this!

Must admit dude, I think you've got an awesome attitude towards the build and some of the comments thrown your way, fair play for keeping your head and not getting sucked into trying to defend how you've built your car

As a wise old man must of said at some point 'Opinions are like a clitoris....every cu*ts got one!' LOL. Keep up the awesome work and can't wait to see the full feature
