Today was a good day, fitted the white sidleghts, test fitted my boot lip spoiler, gave the car a full service (air filter, oil filter and dropped the old oil out and put some new Castrol Magnatec 10-40 in)
Today was the day that the sandpaper has been put down and hopefully never to be used again, the entire car is now completely flatted back and ready for the airbrush for the little touch ups and polishing.

Today was another good day, first job was to give the entire car a good wash to get rid of all the sanding debris then it was on to getting the airbrushing done and the touchups sorted. Its crazy how accurate and easy the airbrush is to use, makes the touchups an absoulte dream. After the touchups were painted and clear coated it was time to get a few things tidied up as the boot has been used to store all the parts etc.. so emptied the boot and fitted the boot carpets back in. Then came the fun of polishing, was a very late start today so only managed to get the bonnet done but im so happy with the results. The pic is only after the 1st cut with the most aggressive polishing head, theres another cut with a slightly less aggressive head then the final cut will be with sheeps wool.

Some real good progress today! When I test fitted the JR10's I noticed that the front inner arches needed trimming so it wasnt hitting on the wheel, that was the first job, then it was all about giving the car a good polish and bring that shine out. The rear of the car is all built and ready to go now, just the lip spoiler that needs adding. Unfortunately due to a few set backs the whole car wasn't polished today but all thats left to do is the drivers side front wing and 2 doors. I'm planning on driving the car out of the garage tomorrow with it complete. This will mean trimming the new rear arches slightly because they look like they may catch under load while driving, fitting the m3 sideskirts, fibreglassing the inner arch on one of the rears because I didnt do it for some reason, spraying the m3 rubstrips and fitting the wheels. Going to be a busy day but i've got a few pairs of hands available so it shouldn't be impossible.

The ccw's fill the arches, its flush up front and i may need a 5- 10mm spacer out back, not running crazy poke or lows because its my daily. Im going to be happy with flush fronts and a very slight bit of poke up back. Wheels are going on today for the proper fit so hopefully i can find my 5mm spacers

Today was the 2nd deadline day, Im happy to say its 99.9% complete. Had to trim the rear arches slightly to allow the suspension travel, finish off the polishing, re-align the bonnet, airbrush the new trim, fit the m3 sideskirts, get wheels on and check for clearance, and then finally drive it home. On the drive home I noticed a slight wheel wobble and had some friends follow me, after the drive home I was informed that all the wheels had a slight wobble in them and werent completely straight, the only explanation I can think of for this is the spigot rings that were provided with the wheels, tomorrow I need to remove the spigot rings and fit the m3 rubstrips that I couldn't fit tonight due to the paint still being wet, once that is all done and hopefully the car drives right it will be JOB DONE! It's been a long time coming and im happy to bits with the job, the pictures below dont do it any justice, will get some proper shots when its driving right.

Brilliant day today, Car drives like a dream and pulls like a train through every gear. No dodgy wobble, no rubbing and nothing but good feedback from everyone that has seen it. Fitted the boot lip spoiler today aswell as the M3 rub-strips and gave it a good clean aswell which really made the colour pop. Tomorrow I am heading to a local drift event to see some friends give their cars hell and hope to get some good photo opportunities and feedback from them. The front arch in the pics looks like its terribly shaped and loads of gap but I can assure you it looks fab in reality.
