Spent some time wrapping up all the heater hoses and heater valve placement. It's about as clean as it can get for the space available, especially for a car with heat AND A/C. I used Gates Powergrip heatshrink clamps for all connections, they look MUCH cleaner than all the worm drive clamps. I'm waiting to get my radiator in so I can get this thing on the dyno. The driveshaft is in the car, a 3" steel unit, so not nearly as much flex as an aluminum, still have the strength, and negligible weight gain. I made more little brackets, this time, for the MAP sensor hold. Since the LS3 intake doesn't have a way to secure an LS1 style MAP, I had to make something, then had it powdercoated.

I'm in the process of TIG'ing up an aluminum expansion tank to replace the stock plastic junker, that will mount on the new aluminum radiator. I also am making the steam port tube a little more aesthetically pleasing, I'm show more of that tomorrow.

Wrapping up cosmetics now, also modified the steam vent line. I TIG'd a -4an fitting on it, then ground it smooth for a factory look, heading to the powder coater next. I got the JTR transition/bleeder, I replaced the big petcock bleeder with one of the smaller GM style ones, it's a lot cleaner IMO. A new thermostat housing needed to be fabbed up so I could route my radiator hoses cleanly, so that was on the agenda there. Stocked up on some Amsoil and Wix filters as well. Onto the pics

Little progress until the radiator gets here this week. I fabbed up an aluminum expansion tank, I need to get some shots of it. I got the front end all back together (minus front bumper so we can get it on the trailer to the dyno). All cowl pieces are on. It's really ready to rock this week. Radiator will be in, then I can make the intake. Look for final updates soon!
