No recent updates unfortunately. Been having some family stuff going on and I am now a double major in accounting and finance so I have been slammed at school. Family and school take priority right now.

Looking forward to seeing more updates! My friend has imported a 52 chevy pickup so it got me looking at this kinda thing. I quite like the look of these bagged.

That looks awesome. I love the cool GMC parts. I kind of want to run a GMC grille. I like the quad headlight look.

At the moment I think I am going to do a Porterbuilt dropmember up front, then Z the rear and do a triangulated 4-link setup.

Boy I tell you hwhat gonna be givin' old Mickey a run for his money when I'm done.

Finally got to spend my first weekend working on it since school started. I got the cab off the truck and it was a pain. Also took some ghetto engineering:

You can see we lifted the cab up and slid some 2x10s under it. Held one side up with the engine hoist and had to lift it until it would clear the chassis. Once it was high enough we rolled the frame out. The other side was on the trailer with a creeper under it, then we just backed the truck up until it was on. We only had 3 people and it weighs about 600lbs so we had to get creative.

Degreased and pressure washed the frame and ready for surgery:

Should be notching the frame potentially next weekend. If not, it will definitely be done by the weekend after. Swoop

Dang Rob is straight knobbin' in my build thread.

Nothing exciting. Got my windshield in (which was way easier than I anticipated) and all my rubber seals to keep water out are done (even though the doors leak profusely. Will have to get that figured out). Gluing in door seals is a massive pain in the ass and even the best seals you can get still need to be modified to fit properly.

Buffed on this glass a little to get the water spots out and it turned out nice.

Also finished the patch work in the passenger side foot well. Coated with POR15 then put seam sealer on it. I will try to match it to the original paint down the road. Its pretty dirty in the picture.

Anddddd I am running out of stuff to do and school starts Monday. I will probably take the cab off soon and get down to the bare chassis.
