great start, I am really looking forward to this as this is my favorite generation of the c10. major props on going with a wrap around windshield model most people are afraid of them.

Love the patina look. I wonder what would happen if you buffed on that a little bit

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Took it out to take some full shots with the paint stripped. Still needs a lot of little detail work, but I am ready to start taking it apart.

You can see the original dealership sticker here:

Sorry for the uneventful update. It is stripped for the most part but the detail work is really time consuming. Trying to get all the dark green out that I can. Inside the drip rails, the outside edges, overspray in the door jambs. It all adds up. Have to touch every square inch of the paint and do multiple passes.

Sorry if the updates are a little much, I am just really happy with how it is turning out. Should be done for the most part tomorrow. Started loosing feeling in my hand through the gloves so decided it was time to call it a day.

I would like to redo the bumpers and grille/grille surround thing to make them like new. They were poorly resprayed and I am having no luck bringing them back.

I love the old truck. My dad has a 1952 International L-110 that eventually I would love to put on air and a late model drivetrain.

My stopping point for today. Should have it wrapped up in a few days as far as paint goes. Still have some work to do on this side. Then I would like to do all the window seals and and put all the body stuff in storage to start on the chassis.

Thank you for all the kind words everyone. You can follow me on instagram @ryansermonet. Will have little updates here and there.

    Absolutely love that patina look.

This should be rather wonderful once you're done.

Found out the Jasco stripper works pretty well and is half the price. This is turning out to be pretty labor intensive to get it to look right. But there is some sweet looking stuff under it all. I think it is way better than the dark green:
