fired up, but have a dead injector on cylinder 2. its funky style too. fuel return is built into the top of the injectors and is fragile. all of them are broken...but it does run. might need to upgrade to some bosch's with injector adapters....
well i think i am on the 1.8t path. convert it from cable to drive by wire. should be fun.
looking at a 2003 passat 170hp engine, but it has a returnless fuel system and that ecu has a few tuning oddities. i can snag up a new oem automatic gti/jetta 180hp harness and i already have an ecu for it then.
all i really need to order is a clutch and flywheel now.
garage is cleaned out. sold some i5 engine parts. picking up an AEB 1.8t block this week. also grabbing our mock up aeb block/head on wednesday to start fabbing up new motor mounts.
