    Ok ok...
Sorri guys, its been a lil slow as we have been waiting on the panel and paint shop to have a free spot for us...as they do a lot of insurance work and can only take on 1 to 2 non insurance jobs at a time...
    As of Monday...

We didnt expect any movement or work to b carried out for at least 2weeks...
But my bro went past last night...
    and
    Front guards in high fill

Doors and in the background u can see boot is in high fill...
Its hard to see...but the roof is pretty much rubbed back to bare metal...

    Enjoy till next time

    ok...
gearbox is all finished and done...

so here is the gear box on its way back home with my bros b-series box...
rough idea on wat was carried out...
ppg synchro gear set was installed and shimmed
all brand new OEM bearings and sleeves
brand new OEM oil pump gears
    brand new OEM selector forks
now everything OEM was shot peened
and everything copped the ISF treatment...

    on other news...
had a mate of a mate Andrew from Werribee brake and clutch come out and re-do my brake lines for me.
the drivers side and prop valve one are basically oem style just re-done...
but the passenger side as u will see below was redone to be tighter on the body line and under the firewall lip...

    more to come soon

we did originally discuss the JZ & RB route...

however after driving my bro's dc2r turbo, it was the engine combo I wanted...

the f20c was prob the betta option at the time, but the 8k price tag was a killer...

and then the k20 was cheaper and dicided a betta option for aftermarket supporting mods...

got some more news from SAM (Neat GearBoxes)

After all the cleaning, Sam spent some time gouging out small broken gear particles from the aluminium.
He found about 10 chunks like this by running a magnet around the case.
The last thing we would want is these little bits running through our new gear set or oil pump.

    Here’s the assembled gear sets.

and setting up the bearing clearances.
