The naked hood looks sweet. I like the idea of the bare metal. Do you have the ability to polish it out a little to get rid of some of the odd lines and "scars"? Just to make it a little more even. Most of this site is full of support, s o try not to get too focused or waste too much energy on the ****. It's too hot for that (it'll be 103 here today!)

I kinda like the blemishes in the hood. It's clearcoated to keep it from rusting which is nice. Also it changes colors in the light too.

I've got some work to do on the car again. It does this weird thing where it will be running fine no issues and then it will lose power. Just driving along and all of a sudden it seems weak. Also need rear shocks. I want to get some shorter ones than factory. I recharged the air conditioning and it still doesn't work... The pump works but I notice a hiss in the passenger compartment down by the fan box. I think there are some solenoid controlled valves or something that can leak. Really sucky cuz its friggin' 100 degrees outside!

It's all just BS anyway... I am actually considering selling the car. I found an 82' Corolla wagon in pristine shape I really like and I also found a 1975.

The fact that there is a build thread just means people are going to **** on it. If you put it on air and BBSs, someone would say "its been done."

The biggest thing you can do is ignore those comments. Getting an attitude back on a thread only fuels fire. Just build your car, respond to the comments that you "should" and keep going.

Hey you fucking moron the car is/was a rusted POS that has well over 200,000 miles on it and aint worth shit... I've made it look 10 times better than it did when I bought it... Dumb fucking kids on here don't know shit. The majority of you cars all look alike. I know better than to throw tons of money into a car these days. I've been there done that. Got WAY better shit to do with my money than waste it on a POS BMW 528e. If it was a nice car I never would have done this. Man sometimes I wish you fucktards were local and say shit to my face...
