Man, you weren't lying when you said that engine didn't look good. Personally i think gold similar to the wheels would look great and create a nice theme for the car.
Lol we already have on shitaco with trinidad james in the bay. This one needs to go a different route
Driver side frame notch started. My frame ate up the hole saw pretty quick though.
Sway bar had to be removed. It sat lower than anything else and would bind the lower it went.
To make up for that missing component I purchased a custom lower stress bar from Matt Rad. He built it for his Scirocco with going low in mind. It bolts to the front control arm bolts and connects in the middle. It should be here this week.
Units. yo by the way, those upper mounts aren't maxed, you can move the most inner hex bolts closer to the outer ones, therefore getting more room. Ill text you.
Ordered a new half height hex cap. Mine fell off forever ago and I temporarily replaced it with a flat cap. I generally dislike flat caps. $65 sucked for one RS hex nut but whatever.
Also bought new (to me) seats. A pair of black Corrado leathers in good shape. I currently have a pair in the car but they were originally tan and someone dyed them black in a terrible fashion.
I will be back home in a couple weeks and will get started on the false floor and get the interior done. Hopefully the clutch is sorted, then it should be ready for the show season. I've also been working on some things for my Golf since it's taken quite a beating the past few years sitting outside and driven every day. New wheels, a few painted things, and general maintenance.
Just ordered this new steering wheel from Japan. Sorry the pic sucks. All I had to work with. I'll most likely not be using the center pad. I'd been wanting to replace the Benetton wheel for a while now since it didn't match.
Been working on these lately for my mk3. Should be done in about a week
I love this way too much, and following you on IG makes me happy.
Thank you!
Just got a new turn signal stalk, antenna, and cluster bulbs.
Ordered some other stuff too. I can't really remember it all. I get home for Spring Break this weekend and I'm getting a lot done in the coming week. So excited!
Also got these 15" 100% real Prima Donnas in the mail straight from Japan. The realest of real. The rarest of rare. Someone buy them.
your rocco is badass! i really need to get my finger out my ass and work on mine! its been off the road since 2012 -.- good god im lazy. yours is inspirational

So you are who Marc was telling me about. Those Prima's are so awesome. I'm also here to put a thorn in your side on doing a build thread for the OZ Turbos... haha

I'll have to get pics together and do that next week. I actually painted them tonight and they're getting put together next week.
today was great. got home for spring break (my last one ever) so i can spend all week working on my cars, something I don't get to that much.
my friend chris did the driver side frame notch. he also pulled the trans and did the rear main seal (which was causing my clutch to slip) so it should be good to drive now.
installed the lower stress bar
the new (to me) seats i will probably install tomorrow
overall the car sits lower now and more importantly even on both sides.
i also went through and installed a number of small finishing pieces (mostly in the interior) that weren't really pic worthy.
stay tuned, tomorrow is the false floor along with whatever else i can get done
