Installed a couple pieces of glass which turned out to be rather stressful, along with some other easier pieces. Roommate was working on his TDI during this as well. Garage is a total mess.



Small item but installed the upgraded MkIV dome light. It's a really simple retrofit but is one of my favorite things on the car. Flows so much better and works great.

Started on the rear end tonight.

Back from SoWo. Golf had some mechanical issues before I left but sorted it out in a couple hours (seized rear brake/wheel). Had a great 5th year.



Got home yesterday, and stopped by the UPS hub to get my tires.

yeah... definitely not. Too much to do to feel comfortable with driving it 6hrs each way. I could probably pull a couple all nighters and get it to the point where it could make it down, but I'd rather not risk half assing anything.

I'll be starting on re-assembly pretty hard once I get back from SoWo. For the time being I'm giving my Golf an oil change, a full detail, then driving it down for the 5th year in a row.

Yeah I figured man, I would be doing the same thing myself if i had a project car. No worries, there's always h2oi
