well it made it to h2o and back no problem. about 1500 miles round trip and not a single problem. i really love this car and i got a lot of comments/praises over the weekend. there were a few times people said they had been following the build on here. so thanks everyone for recognizing the work and time i put into this thing.

didn't really take any pics of my car. just these two my friend sent me. some might have seen me with lots of fake hundreds out on the strip saturday night.

if anyone took a pic of the shit rocket or sees one, i'd love to see it. haven't come across any.

You should add a snail though upgrade that 4 bagger from granny spec
that would be ideal and a lot of fun. i'll probably get to that later down the road with this car. i'm pretty happy with it for the time being. hopefully it gets to h2o without any issues.

fitment is spot on lowered. i was afraid the front would need camber but it's pretty much perfect. got lots of little stuff to do tomorrow, alignment tuesday, and departure to ocean city wednesday morning.

i'm cruising there with the VR6 turbo 993... it's going to be an interesting 12 hours.

Wiring has been redone. Most everything works now. 2nd fuse box and ECU are mounted behind the glovebox in the dash.

    Still need coils. Fuck.

Tried to go on a trip to Ohio for a big scirocco gtg last weekend. car made it one mile. exactly one mile. fuel pump toggle (relay doesn't switch it on for some reason, tried multiple) blows the fuel pump fuse every time i flip the switch. not sure why. probably a short with all the mess of swap wiring under the dash. most of it was temporary anyways. time to relocate stuff and clean it all up.

here's an updated pic of the bay from last saturday about 5 minutes before it decided to stop working.

also picked these Enkei Aeronautics up to throw on for winters or temporary rollers but i think i'm just going to sell them bc i still need coils really bad. $500 shipped someone snag em! 14x6 4x100

been driving it around a lot lately. almost nothing works in it except the drivetrain but i don't care right now. just really enjoying it. she's going back to my friends shop soon so he can finish up wiring clean up and basically tidying up the bay for me.

    sowo roller:

last night at a local meet. decided to detail the bay a bit.

holy shit. sowo was amazing and the shitaco made it there and back no problem.

started it up for the first time tuesday evening. seemed to work well so i started putting everything else together to have it road worthy. wednesday i had to drive it to my house at school an hour away. it was pouring rain and my wiper arms were stripped out so it was kind of sketchy. car did awesome though.

thursday morning i left to sowo. it did the 6 hour drive no problem. it drives so great and feels amazing being behind the wheel. every mile put a huge smile on my face.

very first drive. not ideal and really nerve racking.

got back home a few hours ago. i'm bummed sowo is over but i'm ecstatic that my first car could take me there

if anyone has seen any pics of it from the weekend i'd love to see them
