  • Well this happened...did a test fit last night wheels had to grow on me. Def not wide enough and I dont plan on running spacers...I call that cheating, but these willl work for now until I get other wheels. Cant beat 350.00 for OEM BMW stamped. The more and more I looked at them the more and more I began to like them. If only they were wider. Also as you can see the black trim is still there and thats because Im lazy. Hopefully this weekend I will finish taking them off. With work fender rolling/pulling I really have no time to work on my own. It will get done eventually.

edit: hook it up with a complete profile shot with both wheels, would really give a better idea of how it sits and what not. PLEASE

Its static bro no air here. Its pretty much the same setup as the X3 only difference is I had to get sleeves welded around the base of the front struts so that everything could be snugged tightly with no play and safety issues.

Ill leave this here. Took this before bringing the rear down more to get better fitment. More pics coming soon when I get tires for the fronts for both sets of wheels.

                  • Meh black trim back on.. Just ordered 10.5s for the fronts... Hard to believe this this thing is a SUV at times. Still a work in progress exploring the unknown.

Thanks fellas, these will just be a temp setup. 10.5s up front should make it sit pretty boss. Since this a day to day hauler Ill keep these to daily. No bro they are 18s.lol

E46 setup compared to the KWs..E46 setup no where near maxxed out as the KWs were. As the Mazda 6 towers above the X3.

                          • Out of curiosity, does being so low make the car feel... erm, smaller? haha or can you still tell it's built with going off road in mind? And it sits beautifully, you should get a photo shoot done

Thanks man, and yes it def feels smaller. There is no off road feel to it at all. It rails corners and only time it has the off road feel is when I have to climb a speed bump one wheel at a time, not to mention the angled steep driveway attempts lol Shes a long way from photo shoot, but thanks again man lol

                              • My feelings about the whole thing...

Glad to see it static yet oh-so-low.

ps: from your previous post on the sleeve welded, is this similar to the shocks welded for e30, or just extra thickness for the x3 to accept the e46 suspension?
