Not sure what to tell you bro but I have zero rub issues from tires. Could be your 315 on 10.5 but I was running a 255 on a 11 which was a mild stretch nothing crazy. The 11s never rubbed. Only rub issues I have is the transfer case going up driveway and the unavoidable speed bumps and dips.

      • So what's the story on getting the bags installed? Did you get the hardware back from the shady shop at least?
I wanna see this thing eating the grass at rest!!!

            • Besides the shady shop. Was bagging it pretty straight fwd. is there a bolt on kit. Or did it need custom parts and stuff.

              • I gave up on the bags shes still static just running a different setup. Alittle experiment that actually worked. This is all the way up on the coils. Im currently dialing in the rears as we speak but she looks like this on all 4 corners. After running this setup from another car..a bag setup up will be fairly easy so maybe in the future if I do decide to bag it and cheat Ill just end up doing it myself. Ill post more pics shortly. Also rides super smooth way better than the KWs.

Have you ever considered painting your bumpers?

                      • Sorry for toaster pic but just a idea of the lows that have been had by running the new setup. This is no where near maxed out. Ill try to post better pictures later.

This was taken before I did more adjusting and went lower to the pic above

Honestly I wanted to run the 20s but now that Im a lot lower and have more room to go down and I love how low it sits on the stock 17s im thinking about just running 17x10 fronts and 17x11 or 12 rears with stock tire size for alittle stretch.

Thanks man, and yes I have but Im wanting to find oem painted ones from a newre model like the ones pictured above. Im sketch about having them repainted at a shop because of all the failed attempts before where the paint begins to flake off.

                          • this thing is rad! i was just thinking not to long ago i wanted to see one of these slammed. Im so glad that you said you like the 17s, I like them a lot better than the 20s tbh. sorry to hear about all the air ride shenanigans but good thing you bounced back and didnt get discouraged. air ride still in the future for this? I think leaving it static would be gnarly though! keep it up man!
                            then i smash yo corolla

Hey thanks man I appreciate that and to be honest with you I was only considering the 20s due to the KWs not being able to go low enough to tuck. They were maxxed to the extreme and still had a just enough wheel gap to drive me crazy. Another reason bags were considered because the lack of lows, but after a lot of thought and hanging onto the idea E46 suspension would work on this I took the leap of faith and I got it to work and I couldnt be happer. Once I get the skid plate made I will be bringing it down a lot more. Im extremely happy with the ride quality and the lows that are happening. Shes going to remain static for a while, so no bags in the future as long as this continues to work.
