650lb springs front and 450-550 rear. Although the bounce will be gone and wont kill you. The stiff will. One or the other.

I believe the last time I measured it it was 2.5" or thereabouts. All the way down (jack points at a smidge over 2" high), the lip was barely off the ground, maybe a half inch.

Alright so some things needed work. On Day 4, I shaved the rear fenders to allow the car to sit at its correct ride height and re-bled the brakes.

There's a video of me trying and failing to get out of the garage. I'll try to get it posted.

We managed to get her out, then took her to the wash





This shows just how much I was scraping over everything, and she rode like total shit, just super bouncy all over the place, and really uncomfortable.

Then this afternoon when I got home, I finally took some daylight shots









Tonight I shaved the front fenders (they were really rubbing like mofos), secured my shitty exhaust midpipe with some metal bands to help keep it from scraping, and raised her about 2" or so, so I can daily her. Took these afterward





The ride is wayyy more comfortable; it doesn't bottom out and scrape over everything, though it's still a little bouncy. Not sure exactly how to rectify that, but I'll recycle the old tophats and make some super-extended ones for the rear. I'll maybe get some stiffer springs for the front, and move the 350s to the rear.

That's all for now, kids! Later on I'll fine-tune the suspension, and inch my way down to a comfortable daily height. For now that's how she sits.

Day 2 Continued

Rear suspension sitting tight and waiting for install



So here's where things got interesting. After both sides of the rear suspension were installed, I realized that the top bushings in the tophats had popped out, because Tokico only saw fit to provide ONE washer per tophat, instead of two, leaving nothing for the shocks to push against underneat the tophat and rendering the whole suspension completely useless



Day 3 (Sunday into Monday)

First thing's first, I pulled the rear shocks and used some leftover shock washers from my dad's truck to install some bottom washers for the tophat bushings.



Reinstalled and the bushings are sitting like they should have in the first place

My solution for the extended shock pistons reaching past the interior. Dem nipples.



By the time everything was tightened and ready for bleeding, I still needed to install the new proportioning valve. My friend came back over and rigged this up, to help us



Because we're ghetto like that.

Making some slight modifications to a random 10mm wrench I had, to create a flange-nut wrench to help with all the brake lines.



And finally, at the stroke of midnight, this miracle happened...



We mocked up the bumper lightly and realized the plate had fallen off. Whatevs.

Well I'm a huuuuuge liar about those pics, but I've also been hella busy these past couple nights getting her where I want her. Are you ready? Here we go...

End of Day 1 (Friday night/Saturday morning about 1AM):

Almost completely stripped, most everything is hanging by a few threads or on the ground...



The whole rear suspension built and ready to be installed



Day 2 (Saturday into Sunday morning)

My friend came over about 8am to help, but I got called in to work at 10 so I had to leave for a couple hours. He took these while I was away:

Front calipers cleaned and ready for paint





Fascia pulled apart to access fender and brake stuff



This is my fender after some asswipe backed into me a few months ago

Driver's side, installed. The hub was hit with a quick coat of rusty-metal primer, soon to be followed with flat black paint.
