Jattus just released a new turbo kit for the beta2, and when it's all said and done, it will cost $2029 before shipping and taxes. No need for tuning, it's all plug and play.
It's not intercooled though, so you might want to add one, and you either have to get your own, or order one from them.
They are running an elantra at 11 psi un-intercooled on this setup.
Well, i've been thinking about it & im trying to keep it as real with this build as possible, and stick to what i've always wanted. So with that said...
I will be working on building this motor + turboing, leaning more towards reliability versus power. 250hp max (since that's what I hear is all the alpha transmission can handle) and I also will be sticking to my avatar's color scheme, going with the stock silver that our some of our accents come in.
Should be an interesting year coming up. Trying to make it into SEMA 2014 guys, WISH ME LUCK!!
I was getting the elantra ready for wekfest 2013 at the mary when a truck tire almost ripped the mirror off, some guy managed to open his door and leave a huge mark on my perfect door and when i called him out on it, he used his family excuse, threatened to get me fired, and sped off. Tire delaminated and cracked a rim, then I had to repair the exhaust which took away from my new fender money... It went from almost show ready to crap in about 2 months before the show...

It sucks so hard, my car proved its reliability to me, so all the shit that happened could have happened to anybody. Slapping my rear wheels on today though, finally got my rear wheels to hold air, so i'll be posting a picture related to fitment today.

Looks like I am actually going to have to pull a Mike Burroughs, didnt get my bonus money this month and have to wait until this friday when I get paid to
- buy tires
- start rebuilding my rear wheels
- buy front bumper + left fender, take it to the bodyshop for coating.
- lower my rears + raise my front 1/8 of an inch
This 4 hour trip, and 8 hour show will be interesting.
Wont have any pics up besides ONE teaser UNTIL after wekfest.
Got the car back, missing my front bumper & left fender, still turning heads.
Found out that along with the fenders being pulled, he also radiused them. Not sure to what extent but my new lips from sebvw make it here this Friday. So i'm planning on going lower after i get the lips on.
