    Thanks man! Things come back in full circle, etc.

    My e30 touring is off the road for the time being. I have the interior apart, to clean and restore a few items. This winter I'll be tearing into the suspension, to replace all the bushings/ball joints etc.

    here is the build thread so far on it;

      Got to sorting the interior.

      Gauges n shit

      I have since installed the column plastics and the knee bolster.

      And the replacement wheel came in. Thankful that my sponsor, Neutron Coatings, could get it done to match the rest of my wheels. Porsche Silver, wassup!

      Tires and turbo tomorrow. Got to drain my intercooler too, it has alot of oil in it...

        Damn, looks great I really dig that it still has the pignose. Glad that you are doing this the right way, and not half assing it.

        I have a few questions that no one has been able to answer for me, and I am hoping you can help me. How bad are the stock s13 brakes, and how hard was the wiring for the sr20det? Some insist that the wiring isn't too bad, but I've seen wiring diagrams and it's just plain confusing. I'm planning on getting a pignose coupe and swapping in a ca18det, and I've heard that the wiring between the two is very similar.

          looks good! Word of advice though. Take that Fram filter off before it wrecks your motor.I've had 2 frams where the filter mesh came out the pickup tube and almost went into the motor.

              only had it in there with the straight 30 i used for the first 20 mins of run time, better to waste a cheap filter. I use either purolator, wix or bosch normally. thanks for the concern!

                the wiring is really quite simple. match the wires for the ecu plug(you'll need the dual cam ka one on the chassis side), take the engine harness to chassis harness to plug from your old ka engine harness and match the colors. The stock brakes are ok with good pads, but Z32 rotors and calipers are common upgrades for the front, as is going z32 rear.
