Awaiting brakies to redeem yourself
Plan is to get it running smoothly, then new supercharger, fix up my interior problems, then register and drive.
Rest assured it will not get onto the road, I am much too anti-talented (that's worse than un-talented)Originally posted by Stupid KidYou're the worst everything everywhere

Just curious, but what made you shave your mane off? Was it a lady friend or is the e28 really driving you that mad?

Main things that I'm glad about is now being able to drive with the window down, sleep without constantly moving my hair to keep it out from under my back and being able to towel-dry my hair after a shower.
You could say it was for a lady friend because I'm single, and I got jealousy rather than affection for the hair...
I've been taking it slow with the car, mostly because I was completely stumped on it... I was really close to selling it on and getting something that worked - I was looking at E12s, E23/E24s, even VW Type 3s, but I am properly reinvigorated now, and I might even make the Halfway Hangs deadline (6th February).
I'll try to get to a wrecker to sort out the few bits I need this week, and then the fun task of putting the dash back togetherOriginally posted by Stupid KidYou're the worst everything everywhere

Knocked back the fuel on the Megasquirt today, and let it come up to temperature a bit, you CAN hear the SC at load, and it appears to work... somewhat. I see ~5psi come up on the gauge, and you can hear it a little at ~2.5k+ rpm. I would have done a longer video and actually shown it at lower RPM and given it a bit more at high RPM, but that crunch before the video started distressed me a little.
She sits at ~800rpm if I hold 3% (according to tunerstudio) on the throttle. I'll have a look at it with someone who knows a bit more about tuning some time soon, probably push up the idle to 800 (rather than 600) and adjust the intake so it can idle at 0% throttle.
Very happy at the moment, just need to grab a seat cover, some front struts, fix the interior, fill a small chip in the windscreen, and then she's off to roadworthy!Originally posted by Stupid KidYou're the worst everything everywhere

I always thought your username was "floatingdingo" and I'm just now realizing it's not and I'm kind of upset.
