And these are to go to the trunk and then remove the oem locking mechanism from there as well . . .

Tom started fabricating a bracket for the CoilPacks to sit . . .

Here are some pics . . nothing fancy, just what it is needed, no extra weight, and good looking..

And then I painted it myself , on the car's colour, and it will be welded onto the firewall

Something else I did, was totally removing the fuel filler neck, and had to make something to keep the fuel cap flush - here are some quick pics .

    Flush

And a random night shot of my car being dirty from rain and mud

And some pics of the interior

Things at the front are civilised, yet lightweight.
At the back though - no need for things - noone sits there after all . . .

    Take a look . . .

So I received another package - This time the package was for me, and it had my ignition components .

The coilpacks - plugs went in

And then I had a plan to change the appearance of these . . .

    To this . . .

Ok - so, first work for 2012, it was time to lower the car a bit more to bring it to sit as it should on its new weight figures . It also had an alignment.

    Onto the pics -

    Up up it goes . . .

    Wheel gap front before -

    Wheel gap front after

Moving on to the rear - we had some difficulties in releasing the aluminium thingy that moves the height of the suspension cause it had water stains and corrosion on it from time but nothing a little fire cant deal with . . .

    So . . .

    rear wheel gap before

    rear wheel gap after

And one more of the whole car

    before

    after

Managed to remove some more weight - about 15kgs (33lbs). So we are looking at somewhere around 2930lbs at the moment. Not bad hey . . .

And also I did order the ignition mentioned , four of these - plus the rest needed . . .

    Cheers everyone

Had some misfiring issues due to ignition being weak at the power lever the car was at . . . So the solution that Tom suggested for that time, and for future plans, for ignition issues solved for good, consists of the following components . .

    Along with these . . .

    And these . . .

And a brand new set of colder sparkplugs . . .

Let's see if I can pull this one off, because the TFSI ones will be good, but wont stand up to the level I plan on going.

Gave the engine bay a quick wipe out to test some detailing products, just some quickies

    And on a side note, I bought these today . . .

so . . . I smell more weight reduction, hahaha

---------Then we went for some road tests - closed private road blah blah blah ----------

Car hit almost 2,5 bars of boost without fuel cuts , Tom found the issue which was with the Aeromotive FPR, and just when we started logging . . . look . . .

I will get it fixed tomorrow, and propably find a boost gauge to see more than 35 psi somehow, and some more things . .. stay tuned . . .
