    Building the dash...

Built a bracket to carry Oil filter and fuel shut off. Powder-coated chrome.

Had a laser shop whip up a brake rotor and caliper mount for the N2 brake...

    Jon mounting the dash.....

    Gotta use Jet Oil....

Almost ready to light this barbecue....

    Verifying EGTs....

Lit this sucker and took IR photos to make sure everything is staying at normal operating temps...

Exhaust turned a beautiful shade of gold!

    And finally a video...

In the best way possible, I don't even understand how this is happening. I mean, I know and understand what you are doing, I just can't comprehend that people are actually doing this. Human beings are completing this project. To be honest, it has restored some of the faith in humanity I've lost over all the recent LS swaps.

Yeah those are awesome. They had a crazy energy recouperation system that involved high heat capacity honeycomb material rotating at like 30rpm. think of the gear reduction to go from 30,000-40,000 rpm to 30!

    More progress!

Stiffened the openings for the exhaust

Got the body back from paint. It was a free paint job thanks to Anderson Paint

    Pressure tested the reservoir...

    Started test fitting...

    And final welded the exhaust

Finished up the oil tank! Wow outside corners in stainless are tough to TIG and look good. Any pointers out there? we have one week until design day! the body is back from paint and we are now ready for reassembly.
