This is, easily, one of the best build threads on here. The effort you're putting into this is outstanding, and you guys are going to become killer engineers once you graduate.

Thanks! That means a lot coming from you guys! We are hoping to have it ready for a road coarse a few hours away in late may. Plenty of time for shakedown after finals!

Now that we got it running, its time to get it to drive! Machined a SAE Dana/Spicer to Spitfire flange yoke adapter for the diff...



Made an n2 brake, which is essentially an oversize hydraulic e-brake...

dude with fingers = rpm x ???, so 9,000, 90,000?!?!?!

He is indicating EGT in degrees.. 200-300....It got to ~800f.

But in the video, that's only idle with no load... around 30,000rpm

can't wait to see it at full throttle!
