plus the pics suck, ill post better ones tomorrow in the daylight and outside.

Nice man! nothing wrong with cutting springs once in a while. How many have you cut so far? Im trying to remember how many I cut from my 7, I think it was around 3 front and like 4 or something like that in the back... still had some rake. It was pretty dumped on 17"s!

pics above was on 2 coils cut all the way around.
but it still seemed high, so today i took another 1/2 off the front and a full coil off the back.
              totalling 2.5 front, 3 rear.

again, pics dont do it justice, but im happy with the drop.
i did however run into a problem. apparently volvos cant go super low without driveline issues, i had a vibration coming from the driveshaft due to the drastic pinion angle, it was minor and only on takeoff, so i got home and began the "race car mods"

pulled the spare, spare cover, trunk carpet and plastics, and rear seats. still need to pull the rear seatbelts and plastics, ran out of light.
good thing is no more vibration, its fucking loud as hell tho lol. fuckit, rock on.

Are you slowboost744 on turbobricks? I had the same problem when I lowered mine. Even though it went away for now I bet it will be back. With the funky angle of the driveshaft you might have issues with the u joints, so id space the carrier bearing asap to avoid having to replace u joints as well

I can imagine your thought process, "Wait for the cash for coilovers or cut springs... Hmmm. Fuck it Death Squad."

Corey: yeah that's me. Gonna space the carrier this weekend hopefully. It's funny, I dropped my old corolla to the point where the diff was resting on the floor of the hatch area, never had a bind issue. Now i lower this thing just a tad and I got problems lol.

The vlov is very dirty, I wash it every Friday, but Vermont this time of year sucks for trying to keep a car clean.

And yes, sidepipes always win. I have a different idea for it mocked up, just need to do some welding

Thanks for following everyone. Updates soon.

this one time, in band camp, i took the standard springs out of my sierra and cut a bit off them. i then threw away the springs and fitted the 'bits'

just for the record, goodyear letters are traditionally yellow, hoosiers are white ;]
