  • My M5 engined, Touring car wheeled, air bagged suspension'd E36 Coupe

AKA - The Never Ending Story!!

I thought it was about time I stepped out the shadows and showed Stanceworks my 'proper' project. I while ago I did a very short project thread on an old daily I used to run - The Bang Bus, an E36 323 Touring but this is my main event that's been in the making for coming up 7 years now LOL

As things are picking up again and I've started work on the old girl again here's a quick re-cap of where its been and where its going.....

As said the builds been going on donkeys years and just to see if I could manage it (I'm not very techie) I tried putting together a website to document the build instead of people having to trawl though a 100 page build thread LOL the web addess is: www.Projekte36.com if you wanna check it out.

And just recently I put together a face book page that'll have all sorts of random crap on it from the build and other bits I've made, its www.facebook.com/Projekte36 give it a 'like' if you.... er... like LOL

When I bought it, I think it was 2005 ish

    After a while... around 2006

Then some of this happened around 2007 (maybe LOL)

Not happy I made the ZW1's wider and hacked up the arches LOL

Then stuff started to get a bit out of control......post to follow....

So I took the car completely off the road for what I thought would be a quick(ish) make over! That was in 2009 I reckon LOL and began to go all out with no particular plan in mind haha.

      I bought some different wheels

A facelift e46 frontend was bought

      And some doors were bought

      Air ride turned up

      ....and some new seats!!!

Erm, the interior / ICE install began...

Theres still a shed load more to come, if you want an overall look at how its coming along get on the facebook page or hit up the website :-)

I feel like front end conversions and over-the-top ICE were popular 10 years ago, not so much now...

I do have to give credit to you for going this far with a giant project though.

It's interesting to see how the europeans love thw E46 on E36 front end conversions.

I hear what you're saying but I'm not building this to be popular :-) just doing it for me.
