Yep, they are Jeep flares, the rear ones got pretty messed up but they are like $8 a pair so I am going to hit the junk yard this weekend and grab some new ones. 195/60's are not gonna happen for a long time, the only reason that I would go any narrower is if I start running in to clearance issues once I am dropped but from the testing we did I have a couple inches before the tire hits metal when the car is on the bumpstops. The wheels are from a Wheel Vintiques, I ordered them off Jegs. I don't think that they are OEM on anything but I could be wrong

Cool. No, all the Wheel Vintiques stuff is pretty much 'universal' in a way. Good call on going that route rather than race wheels. I like the look.

Picked up some springs that should drop the front of the car about 2" so I will be putting those on today or tomorrow

Yeah they have a ton of potential, I need to grab some new pics now that the front is lowered a little. Also scored some insanly rare window visors today at my local Pull & Save yard, so that made me very happy. I will be ordering my full suspension setup here in about a week as well as my 5 speed swap parts so keep an eye out on here there are some big things in the works

I have to say that, I am in love with your car. Have always had a soft spot for these boxy old japanese cars and this isn't an exception! Those flares look different in a positive way and I can't wait to see it down on the ground! You plan doing some drifting with it?

It will see the track every now and then but for right now it is my only car and I haul my kids in it so drift days will be few and far between until I get a spare rig

I have gotten a BUNCH of parts in and my front coilovers are being welded up, I will be ordering the last few things to finish them up and I should have them on in the next few weekends. I also have all new brakes, most of my 5 speed swap, some tune-up parts and one or two other little things. I am also back on the hunt for some wheels, the weight of the steelies has a profound effect on the car and not in a good way. Thinking I will be on some 15x8" or 9" with some smaller tires for driving around, I will keep the steel wheels around for some shows and stuff so there will be some crazy paint going on them.
