Haha well I'm glad you've enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster that this build is haha

So first things first had to make bed mounts. We took some 3-1/8" pipe and took the old bed mount cap and welded those to pipe to get the height needed.

Then had my brother weld the caps and the nut on the bottom so the bed can be mounted with a bolt through the bed

Then these will be welded to the frame. Simplicity at its best!!!!

Also started buying the stuff to do the 5 speed sway. Got a new carrier bearing, new rear main and a new clutch slave that I taped off during some downtime at work for paint.

Now just have to get a flywheel and a clutch set then I can swap the trannys!! Well that's all for now got some goodies coming in the mail! Keep those eyes peeled!

Good to see you're back at it!
It's just gonna stay there since that's the stock location for the pathfinder. Down the road if I put a fuel cell I may move it.

So I was thinking, since the gas tank is behind the axle,
once im lowered I will have a hard time jacking the rear
up without doing it side by side. So I got to thinking and
I realized I can knock two bird out with one stone if
I come up with a center jack point/ bash bar for the rear.
So while work was slow today I got to sketching.

Dimensions are a little off but I was doing this between customers.

Then cut out two style of roll pans so if I get it registered I have
a place for my plate. First one is the roll pan I already have
and second one is just cut. Im on the fence but ill make
my mind up once I have the actual parts in front of me.
But first we have to make bed mounts.
Then I can work on the jack point, then
from there its lowering and paint!
