I'm surprized you didn't go all out with VG30et turbo manis. Single cam vg30's sound 10/10 gnarly with a good exhaust and intake.

Yep it was basically only pacesetters or obx for pathfinder headers, but the obx didn't have a pic of the crossover tube so I jut went with the pacesetters. I didn't buy them for top notch quality just something that should flow a little better than stock hahaOriginally posted by rice4life View PostI didn't know that Pacesetter was still around. They make some good stuff, it tends to look like ass though, and not the good kind.
My buddy danny had a set on his s13 ka24de, they were mucho bettero than megan headers in terms of weld quality and butt dyno feel.

So out some work in over the last couple days, but I am 100% slacking on taking pics lately. But I did end up dropping the pan, scrubbed the years of road grime off then painted it gold, because GOLD! Threw that back in with new end seals and also put a new rear main in. Then went and pulled the exhaust manifolds out because the upgrades came in the mail!! All the emissions also were deleted, just need to get some smaller bolts to bolt on the egr block off plate. Then today started installing the Clutch!!!!

First step obviously was to not forget to out the dust plate on lol!

Then it was time to mount the flywheel. Got brand new bolts from Nissan and of course they gave me flex plate bolts so they were too short, so had to go pick up some grade 10 bolts.

And heres the clutch in all its glory, good ole stage 1 Competition Clutch!
I took a pic of the pressure plate installed, but apparently couldn't keep my hands still because that picture came out so blurry.

And the exhaust replacement, good ole pacesetters, the only exhaust you can buy that looks like they were thrown down a mountain right after they come out of paint.
You can literally smell the pride they put into them lol. Should make for decent braps.
Gotta grab a new throw out bearing that's already pressed on since I don't feel like putting the press together.
Its the American way! So tranny should be going in soon enough. SO updates when that happens!!!

Little update. Got the torque converter and flexplate pulled. As I assumed the rear main looks fairly oem so I have a replacement for that. The pan looks to have been leaking at the front and rear so im just going to go ahead and drop it and reseal it since I have everything out of the way. So ill be doing that tomorrow, then might be throwing the new flywheel and clutch in, maybe even the 5 speed.

Alright so as we know im terrible at remember to document stuff. But when you're in the groove you can stop amirite!? Spent most of the day Monday pulling exhaust, draining fluids, loosing bolts, then Tuesday night after wrestling around got the massive 4wd auto trans out. I still have to take the torque converter off and the flex plate. Once those are out of the way, I can assess where the slight oil leak was coming from, its either the rear main which I already have a new one waiting, or its the back of the oil pan, which wouldn't be a bad thing, give me a reason to drop it and check out the bottom end. But got my Circuit Sports oil catch can in the other day. Ill have that installed once I fab up a different intake. Have the Circuit Sports Oil filter relocation kit on the way as well. So 5 speed will be going in soon enough, spent about a hour or so the other day scrubbing off the years of grim and got it shinning decent again. So more updates later, possibly with pics

Small update :
Clutch set finally came in, also flywheel came in same day. Still need to go by Nissan and pick up some flywheel and pressure plate bolts.

Then I mount the hood vent. Its doesn't fit 100% but its not going to be a show truck so It doesn't matter, but its close enough. Mounted using some silicone and my favorite, a shit load of rivets. Then gave it its first coat of paint.

One day I hope to capture the actual paint color in a damn picture haha.
I also picked up some hi-gloss black house paint to do the bumpers, wing, roll pan, and any accents.

Next I decided to go with some yellow Lamin-x for all the new lights!

And last but not least, I came across this dream badge that is gold and I just had to get it. Mostly because it pisses my brother off, but it goes with the theme. So I went ahead and drilled and taped it and bolted it through the tailgate.
I don't have a day off till next Monday, so everything ill do this week is going to be small things, paint and random things. Im more than likely going to start getting the auto pulled out possibly on Monday and Tuesday next week. I have more car parts coming in so ill deff have more updates later this week.

Alright so got a email from the company I purchased the clutch from, and they said its coming directly from Competition Clutch so its going to take years probably till I see it. ughhh In other news bolted the back of the bed down used the stock pathfinder mounts and just flipped them over then through bolted the bed with two extra body mount bolts I had from the whole swap. Then threw the tailgate on and finally bolted the 2013 frontier flush wing on. Also started degreasing the 5 speed just to get it ready for whenever the clutch arrives. Didn't take any pics thou since my phone is a potato.

Alright little update. Bare with me on the crappy phone pics.
Alright so I started painting the new color and also got the hood vent mocked up.

For whatever the camera cant capture what the actual color is, buts its deff more green in person :/

inside view, still need to do a little trimming to get the vent flush

I really wanted to keep the color scheme a secret but since the weather got too cold I cant paint till it warms up and I felt I need to update. So I made a new body line and from that up its black with prism clear. A gold pin stripe will separate the colors and then im doing a dual gold stripe down the body line. It looks insane in person

Pic of my brother welding the new bed mounts in that we made. Thought it looked cool haha

Here one is welded and then painted

Then painted the back of the cab while the bed was off.

Then the bed back on and the body line is perfect. The over fenders will go back on last after paint. Next on the list is 5 speed swap. Purchased a Stage 1 Competition Clutch and a oem flywheel. Need to go to Nissan and pick up some oem flywheel and pressure plate bolts also. Then gotta grab a couple seals and then the anchor of a transmission can come out and the 5 speed can go in. Then next step will be lowering. I need fix my phone and get rid of this potato im using. But heres a little update to keep you guys entertained for now.
