Well this has been a adventurous journey. So I picked up a new block and head that are good compression. So threw a new headgasket and bolts in it. Then went to pull my engine to transfer all my good parts over to the new block and realized the whole engine and tranny are pushed like 3" forward. I guess when I threw my blocks on the carrier bearing took a s**t on me and it let the yoke slip out of the transmission so when I threw it back together it pushed everything forward blowing my tranny mount out in the process. WOOOOOOO. But hoping to have some progress by the end of the day!!

So I have no update as usual. My buddy aka my Assistant Manger, is getting promoted to Manager so we will be down 2 people now at work. So this means minimum time off. So I haven't even touched the truck. But I did buy some goodies.

But in the process of reorganizing the garage into a work space so everything is here

Got the pipe bender for $40 brand new at good ole harbor freight because it was open box and sat for like a month. SOLD! I only have one day off this week, and I wont be messing with the truck. Got a buddy in town from college and going to fab him up a couple of things and get his car ready for a show this coming weekend. So don't give up hope on me just yet. Updates to come soon, I hope :/

Not much of a update as usual. Working like a dog and dodging rain drops in the meantime. Got the oil pump dropped and the timing fixed. Then it started raining.

But here's a super cool instagram pic

So haven't had the want to climb under the truck or the timing really to drop the oil pump to mess with timing. So ive been messing with the wiring on my lights. Have the passenger side all wired up, relay and all. Just need to drill one more hole for the bracket and get it bolted up. Then probably start on the other side haha

    More updates to come

Well heres where I am. Im getting spark, im getting fuel to the rail. but the injectors aren't spraying. They're controlled by the crank angle sensor which is in the dizzy. Im going to check tomorrow morning to make sure im getting power to that. But the rain kind of ruined my plans today.

So ive decided that since I got a different exhaust for the Miata im going to run the muffler on the truck. So I cut it down so I can use the muffler alone.

Then since I had nothing to do, I polished it up a little.

Going to make mounts for it sometime and weld up a straight pipe to it one of these days.
