Lmao. I thought of this, but there's no way it would hold. Plus I have isolators...

I may do this... Like maybe those little brackets that are used for holding pipes on walls and stuff.

Also thinking about trying my stock front springs in the rear to see how it rides. Looking for a stiffer spring for the rear, but not too stiff. I'm afraid the front spring may be too stiff.

Wasn't a serious suggestion. Haha. Added for lolz

      Thunderbird springs might be stiffer.

I drew a picture of what I want to paint on my hood.
And I think I'm actually going to try this, as stupid as it seems... haha.

ltd/fairmont wagons are fox platform and have stiffer springs. note LTD is NOT crown victoria ltd, they are two different models.

Get the rear sorted out, a stock hood and I think it'll be looking pretty good!

I would actually really like that hood if it was more conventional( less lines, square ducts ), it just looks rounded/ complicated like a Wings West eg Civic hood or something. Keep up the work!

I would like the hood too, if it weren't such a piece of $#!+... lol

It has a ton of cracks all over it from being in the Las Vegas sun, heat, and dryness... With only some flat black spray paint protecting it... Stupid previous owner...

I do agree that it's hella ricey though... haha.
But I think I'm keeping it (for now) and just painting some stupid ricey design on it.

The rear end will come with time... And money, lol. Maybe the weekend after this coming one.
My life sucks, because I can only work on my car on Sundays and every other Saturday. I have an annoying work schedule.....

I vote panda redneck on stock hood, or better yet, carbon fiber stock hood, spray clear anywhere the picture is supposed to be black (for that hella tight jdm carbon fiber coming through look yo), ditch that ghey spoiler and go with a nice little diy Gurney Flap. Put some nice fender washers and some hex head bolts to hold that little gurney on and you'll have all the little jdm titties bouncing on your sphincter.
                          Yes I'm serious.

Are you blessed with stock wiring that hasn't been messed with yet? My car is a mess of cut off wires and missing connectors, it's terrible lol.

Ford racing c springs are pretty stiff. the fronts are 650 linear rate, so cutting them would yield a pretty stiff spring, and the rears are progressive 200/300 but if you cut them off at the change in coil spacing or a little before, depending on how low you want to go, you should in theory have a 300 lb/in spring for the rear.
