Whoa, I've been neglecting this post for a long while, then again, I've not had a lot to update. With winter fast approaching I've put together a list of things I need to accomplish, and then after nearly fainting I said to myself "It's find bub, you have time and you'll take it one piece at a time..."
So this winter I'll be taking the car off the road and going fulltime in the E23 (which is sketchy as it doesn't prefer the harsh weather St. Louis can bring). I'll post about half of my list now as a teaser, and begin updating as things get crossed off, and here and there something that isn't on this list will be updated.
- Wheels, yes, I've lost steam on them and set them on a shelf, they'll be finished this winter in a Primadonna fashion
- Interior, finishing rear panels now, headliner to come...
- Front Suspension, going to upgrade to AirLift's E36 dampened front struts & bags
- Front Suspension, need to replace like EVERY bushing you can think of
- Air Management, will re-run my hoses through the cabin as I've destroyed them twice now riding too low
- Body, M-technic front end plus front plate delete
- Body, M-technic mouldings all around
- Redo the hatch/mgmt setup, may go dual tank
- Engine, ditch a few things, tuck a few more...
- Engine, considering that whiney snail
- ICE could use some help
- Rear Suspension, considering weld in toe correction
- Rear Suspension, Bushings
That's all the teaser for now, and unfortunately that's maybe half of what's planned :/ I have my work cut out for me...
For now, I'll leave you with one of those fall late afternoon "god shots" as my buddy would call them.
... May have a nicer set of winter wheels lined up too, I have a set of ACS Type-ii's I've neglected refinishing that someone is hot for, and I'm interested in their set of Style 42's...

Okay, a lot of time has passed (busy between work and the fam) but I'm still on this project. I finally hit that brick wall where I couldn't get any big updates done given this has been my daily, just picked up a very unique new daily (and most likely future project) so I'll be getting back to working on this car very soon!
New Daily Sneak Peek
Stats, Euro e23 (very Euro 732i) with unknown mileage, the odo stopped around 83k and here's the type of stuff I see on the dash.
At any rate, enough of that noise, I pulled the rear panels to get to redoing those like the fronts (FINALLY) and this time I'm going to do a writeup on the process, photos, maybe video but we'll see. After that I'll be pulling out the headliner to get to work on that.
Stay tuned for more updates, I promise that I'll not wait so long between postings.

This looks amazing! Definitely has given me some inspirations for my e36 sedan

Have you considered to paint the lower part of the car in the same red colour? And maybe a M3 frontbumper?
I have a set of rocker covers from a Schwartz vert (that I was amazed fit perfect) and an M3 front end is the plan, my only tough to find part is the diffused rear bumper so that may, or may not make it to the car depending on whether I can find one in decent shape for a compact. At that point the plan is a matte red for the whole car. First things first though and that's fixing the paint imperfections. Hoping the weather begins to cooperate for that.

And a quick test fit shows I'll need to adjust camber and/or grab some 5mm spacers.
I'll share progress as I get the time to break them down, I'm nearly finished with a little wheel polishing jig I decided to build out of parts laying around the basement.
