  • Unfortunately that is how most 4th gens look nowadays lol. Sitting in a front yard engine less.

And I don't think the pad can be ground down much at all.

Found someone on ebay who sells iforged step lips for 185$ a piece, not bad.

    • How thin are your fenders? With a narrower tire you could make those look pretty good. They're obviously never going to tuck but it would be a cool poke look I've never seen on a Camaro.

Yes you can, question is are you a bad enough dude?

Suspension & Brakes - Indepedent Rear Suspension (IRS) in a 4th Gen - So, if you want an IRS in your fourth gen car, no qualifiers, there are a number of questions to answer. Update: I can't speak to the quality, and it is still a cut weld affair, but Heidts has a kit to install IRS in a 4th gen ('93-'02)...

          • Haha, if I had the money to do that I would probably look into a different car/platform.

For cheaper than that I could just get a built 9" rear end that is shortened an inch on each side.

I found a guy that has done these pictures below but he won't help me out with how he did it, as I have seen many people crease and damage their quarters trying.

The Dana rears out of Auto C4 Vette is a couple hundred. DO EET, Stanceworks commands you!

What a loser, won't let you in on how he modded his fenders.

I talked to the shop from the car pictured, they said they used a porta power (hydraulic ram used for frame straightening, etc.) to push the fenders out like that.

Also been looking into the c4 conversion and even in that thread they guy said he spent $1100 just on parts and had a ton of fabrication hours into it, if a shop had done it it would of cost him 15k easy. For about the same price ($1500) I could get a 1-2" shortened built 9" rear that holds 1500 rwhp thats just bolt on.

                          But dat Camber doe.

                          I'd rather have a 9in myself. Where did you find a 9in for $1,500? Everywhere I looked is 2500+

                          • There are a few local shops to me that sell them at that price, or a 12 bolt for $1700. But that is also picked up, shipping would add quite a bit I'm sure.

                            • Must be nice. Everything here is 2k+. A friend of mine could build it for cheaper than that but it would take 8 months because he's lazy as fuck.

                              • Just dismounted the tires, after some measurements I was right he had them wrong. I don't blame him though as he said they came with the car and wasn't positive.

                                They are 19x9 3" lips and 19x11 5" lips.
