Picked this up with the intentions of just having a good on gas daily nothing else. But as every car enthusiast, we all get bored with the same ol routine & tend to want more.

Since this is a daily I had to clean up the interior a little

Hopefully I come around mint 200SX floor mats, but probably wont be needing them in the future

& we all know we must attain to maintenance
So I did just that..
Clutch
Clutch cable (pain in the A** in these 98 models with cruise control)
I knew my brakes were sloppy & 2hrs later proved I was right
IMG_0242 by E.gourdet, on Flickr
Wires
plugs
etc... gotta do my belts soon also.. stupid squeaking noise
But then on the ride to work 1 day my hood flew half way on the parkway ! pulled off to the side to notice my upper tie bar has rusted from the bottom of the radiator support. completely forgot about that when I bought it. With that being said I started sourcing the whole front-end.

Still need to get the upper tie bar & driver side fender lining just been lazy...
IMG_0350 by E.gourdet, on Flickr
IMG_0356 by E.gourdet, on Flickr
Hood latch !
& then I got bored & decided to go on YouTube & watch all motor fun..
Which made me get this...
IMG_0353 by E.gourdet, on Flickr
& quick inspection, I thought I was in good business
But then hurricane sandy came & lets say.. living across the street from a marina doesn't mix.
& that put a major setback nearly destroyed my house & family... So I was almost lost all motivation for the build since water was 9ft high in my area & destroyed my engine
But then I said to myself I can't deal with this damn rubbing road noise anymore
So I got these

& now I once again have motivation to finish this. & decided to help me was to put it on this site, maybe that will help a little for me to continue. But then again building credit, being a full time student & having a full time job is succccccch a killer when trying to realx & get the hands dirty lol.. but here are my future plans. Enjoy
My plans are simple. Function over form. going for about 280whp+ N/A & light as possible but have great drive-ability. Also want to track this sometimes
Engine & Drivetrain
2.4L Mazworx stroker
VVL head swap or keep the DE head & do extensive porting etc..
Custom header
4AGE ITB's (have to make a custom adapter)
Aem Standalone
A/C & maybe P/S delete
Delete all unnecessary wires & such to save weight
B15 6spd tranny swap
Suspension
BC Coilovers
Bend rear beam with support
New bushings
Whiteline F&R Sway bars
Interior
Corbeau GTS II seats or B13 SE-R seats
4pt Mazworx cage
Gut the rear
Exterior
Platinum Gray
& hopefully a custom diffuser not totally set on that idea yet
This will be slow because of how busy I am & that I prefer quality.. so even though money might be tight I rather take time to do it right the 1st. All comments welcome
