Hey brother, I feel for you. The same happened to me, I lost my new sr20det and both bikes as well as my house, best of luck with your build, and if you live close enough, who knows I might have some spare time to give ya a hand!

& yea once it gets warmer I can start really wrenching so any help would be appreciated
Got these "oem" b13 mud flaps test fitted them & have to do some trimming. not totally set if I even want these on, but I guess with a proper drop & wheels they would look great
Wow thanks bro I actually thought about a similar wheel design I believe by panasport but they come in the sizes to big. I actually will browse around for r32 wheels now
picked up a set of GSX-R 1000 itb's for a sweet deal !!! Untitled by E.gourdet, on Flickr
it's time I had another go at my valve color. Going to go with Wrinkle yellow hopefully it'll come out looking like this wrinkleyellow3-1 by E.gourdet, on Flickr
Well probably wont be having as much updates coming in for some time again. Since I broke my hand day right after new years i start therapy sometime next week so I will just be parts collecting & by tax might order the stroker kit hopefully till then see you guys soon !
On the carpet you may want to try another coat. However, it might not work stay on for a while. I saw somebody on here to it to their headliner, so I did it to mine as well. And my interior trim pieces. Worked perfectly with the trim, but the headliner is sketch. It still holds up on mine, but I'm afraid that something like carpet which has alot of contact with things (obviously your feet) might wear in a short amount of time. It seems like very fragile stuff.
Regardless, this is a pretty cool start to an interesting car. I'm anxious to see what else you'll do
I got a Mazworx headgasket and it is the nicest headgasket I have ever seen. It is the only headgasket out there that can fit every form of SR20 motor. This headgasket is big enough to fit a 92mm piston.
2.3L VE motor done for cheap. 92mm piston with 86mm crank
Might want to read that, there are some guys in there that have VE strokers.
Well carpet is going to be removed as well as sound deadening, radio, speakers, panels, & maybe switch the sunroof to manual with lexan if possible. Reason doing is i'm going with floor mounted pedals since i'm converting to hydraulic clutch & need to replace the clutch anyway & t osave weight to compensate for power loss. Read up on it since these itb's size are 42mm-50mm or other way around with that the biggest injectors I seen ran on these itb's are from a s2k 390cc & if I want to run e85 I think I need 600cc+ will have to look into it. So pump gas & numbers around 230hp & 190tq seems more realistic.
I only weigh 125 lbs & the car weighs about 2400lbs so with some weight reduction hopefully i can get it into 2100-2200 range with me in it that'll probably get me into high 11s hopefully. I know that's not super fast but for a track car set-up I think being well balanced, trapping numbers like that will be a blast to drive especially with itb response
Sorry to hear about your losses after the storm man I'm on the island too, luckily fam is safe...Freeport got hit hard, I know Gary from LC gti got flooded out, not sure if you're familiar with him, but anyway looks like a cool build.
B15 knuckles w/ brakes gonna sell those & get 26mm z32 4 pots & maybe the 2 pots for the rear but that might be too much brake power for a car my weight & power
Shifter box, shifter cables, axles
Basically it is all complete i just want to start restoring the components as in sandblasting & coating them with rust preventive & all get more new bushings.
Next update shall be
mazworx's p12 bellhousing
b15 spec v rear beam
26mm z32 4 pot
b15 rear disc brakes
interior stripping
b15 spec v master cylinder
tdmi 5 lug conversion
& my 96 m3 shell I recently picked up I have big plans for it & it won't be your typical fanboy flashy m3. Like always my mindset on a car has to have a purpose to be driven hard. Not sure what motor but being long term my dream would be a s85 but yeaa that's a dream.
Probably will be a while till I update this again. i'm usually on the other sr20 forums & i'm working on getting in contact with the owner to renew the title since someone signed in the wrong place for the m3 hopefully it'll all works out & i get to rebuild it.
