so my dad called for me today and when I got to him he showed me this

its him chilling by his bug after he lowered it, he said about a week after he lowered it he found a fender flair off of a semi truck so he put it on the front of his bug as a front lip. he said it was so low that it laid on the ground but after a while of it scrapping pavement it just trimmed itself down to where he had a quarter of an inch clearance from his lip. he later sold it to a junk yard because one day he was shoveling snow and he ended up ripping out the trans axle from up under it, just thought I would share it because I think it was pretty damn cool knowing that my dad lowered shit back when gassers and muscle was cool

thanks man, I really appreciate it. I cant ether honestly, I need to get working on the c10 again, ive been meaning to drop the front end but just haven't gotten spindles for it. I would like to do the c10 like this
    - front end drop to match the rear
    -29x12.5 tire in rear
    -engine swap?
    -original silver for paint
-get tickets and look cool as hell while doing it

Thats better, best to have a list like that and knock them out of the way one at a time. Makes each part feel like a huge milestone.

I honestly cannot wait to see both of your trucks all done up.

Well honestly now I'm looking at it as
    In this order
    -lowered 3"
    - v6 or v8 swap
    -try doing tint again
-rest of the interior stuff (headliner, steering wheel, flooring, etc.)

Just remember that an EFI engine will be much harder to wire up and run properly in a short time. What you should do is create a checklist, and go down the line.

Maybe start with creating a goal for the truck, ex: Muscle, Hot rod, VIP, caliJDM, ect.
then work on one thing at a time have it like:
    VIP ranger(lolwut)
[ ]Interior(VIP, black leather interior, black headliner, black carpet, double din touch screen head unit, black leather door panels, fusa knot)
[ ]Suspension(slam the shit out of it)
    [ ]Wheels(18x9/18x10 work eurolines)
    [ ]Engine bay/engine(V6 or V8 engine swap, if v8 180 degree headers)
    [ ]Bumpers(black)
[ ]Lights(LED interior lights, HID's, LED reverse lights, LED turn signals)

Just as an example. Making a list will help you get more mods done quickly.

So you can focus on one thing at a time and hammer it out of the way before you start another mod.

The black looks 10000x better than the chrome.

ok, I know changing plans makes for a bad build and i'm not really changing plans yet but if I can find a new 3.7 cyclone v6 engine i'm going to put that in the ranger instead of the 5.0 because it has the same power with no mods and 30 mpg instead of 12-15 mpg.... plus it would be pretty badass. and i'm not saying that i'm going to go with the 3.7 because i'm sure it would be hard as hell to find one little alone pull off the swap. but if I find a 3.7 block for sale you can bet your sweet ass i'm getting it.

Thanks dude and I won't lol, I just wanted to rid of the chrome. I didn't want to jump in head first though and paint it, I will eventually paint it black but for now I'm ok with it the way it is.

not much of an update but I got a new wheel for the c10 because on the wood one it was old and with the way the wood was it gunked up where I rested my hand on the wheel. I tried sanding it before but it just keeps getting worse and worse

Picked up the truck last night from my guys place, and I'm sure the people that drove behind me thought that I was trying to brake check them with how powerful my brakes felt compared to how they were before. so I know it's not really a 'cool' update but its progress on the truck so I thought it deserved to be posted, hope u guys don't mind
