  • So after working on the bimmer every free second of my week, I just got bad news. The tires that I ordered a week and a half ago will not be in until Friday. My schedule is packed between school, work, and this car. I still have a ton of work to do and at this point I just want to say "fuck it" and bring the e46 to h2oi.

    • You should just say fuck it and not rush it. Take your time with it

      • Coils are assembled and tires are stretched in the front. I chose 165/45/15 for the fronts and they are perfect. Time to set her on the ground. Untitled

After taking her out for a drive, we noticed quite a bit of scraping. After looking under the car we noticed how low the control arms are. less than a half inch from the ground. tomorrow im going to make a skid plate from the sway bar to the control arms.

                  • The air dam (Cow catcher/pebble catcher) is now riveted on and permanent. I was going to make a quick disconnect for it but I'm not a fan of the way they look.

                    • I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of this car at first, but my opinion has changed completely. You've done a killer job so far.

                      • I don't want to say it, but I still can't dig the shape of the rear flares, especially because the fronts don't match. Everything else is great, wonderful, epic, etc.

                        • The original hood was dented in the front corner and needed a lot of love to smooth out. I decided to grab a hood in better shape the next time one pops up online and rust the damaged one. Now lets get this straight...I **** rusted hoods and fenders on your vw. I only did this because I didn't want to just junk it.

On the 2002's first trip down the highway, we hit a HUGE launch ramp. This led to 2 feet of air at 65mph and then sparks across 4 lanes of highway. We took the car back to the shop and locally nothing broke. The front control arms dragged the highway a little but the fenders and suspension are fine.

After 11 months with this car, we finally made it out to a show. Staggered fall was about a hour drive yesterday and well worth it.
