Keep check on it. Just about to the point where there will be a lot of noticeable improvements on the car

Car's trimmed out all over, interior painted, fenders and other parts not picture are also trimmed and ready go back on the car for final prep and paint. Seats should be getting upholstered soon. Engine is pretty much ready to go in. Still need to buy a gas tank and exhaust, going with GT350 style side exit exhaust.

Everything on the outside will get resprayed the point of trimming it was to make it easier to spray later and not have to get into all the cracks which would make runs. The floor pans dont even really matter they wont be seen anyway

Yeah my grandpa bought it new and parked it in 89 due to bad ball joints and he never got around to fixing them. We started restoring it in May of '11. He said hed pay for what he could as long as I did the majority of the work

Holy shit! How much is the front lowered? and what are the specs on the rims? Thats exactly how I want mine to look except the color scheme is backwards. Why did you sell it?

All around the car was lowered quite a bit. The front would always rub over little bumps haha. I'll get back to you on the specs tomorrow. I have everything written down just have to find it for you. I had it for about 10 years including the restoration and it was just time for her to go. Definitively a fun project that I really enjoyed.

That was just awesome and I love the finishing colour.

How did you lower? I know a lot of classic car guys just cut the springs. I dont really like the idea of doing that but Ive heard that since older cars dont have progressive spring rates its not dangerous. And ok just post the specs her. This car has been a fun project for the most part a lot of frustrating days too. Ill probably never sell mine with me being the second owner and it being my grandpas

Ehhh I think stripes are a little over done imo

If I were you I'd go solid black or white, basic black interior & gold meshies

I like the idea but I prefer the classic gt350 look and deluxe style interior and classicish rims. Everything I'm doing was available as an option except maybe the color scheme itself.
