Did anyone else check out the stanceworks blog and the 69 mustang featured? That video inspired me a little bit. I wish I could put a chassis under this thing and chop and widen it oh and the boss 494, I had only ever heard that engine mentioned a few times in my life and most of my family are diehard ford fans.

nice I wish mine were a 4 speed or even a 5 speed it's only a 3 speed though with a bench seat which is somewhat rare.

I'd look it up but I'm at school
This would be cool to see, I have talked to a lot of guys that wanted to run something like this but never ponied up the cash for it. MSD has one and Edelbrock has one as well. i think the Edelbrock one uses a special manifold with fuel rails while the MSD one is a throttle body injection (I think)

I like where this is going though, keep it up!

Loving this build. I've been seeing cheaper Stang's locally lately and want to jump on one.

funny about the spring comment, I took a picture of the rear spring from my '66 Rambler. I couldn't believe it was almost 20" tall (compressed was around 14" when I measured for the bags).

direct link to avoid further derailment:

I had never even thought of that! As disgusting as the original color was I think that would have looked sick!

Update: Engine and trans and all that good stuff are going in Tuesday! Pics soon. In the mean time I need to know what can I use to polish the aluminum tailshaft of the the transmission as well as the bell housing? I know those parts will rarely be seen but I have a strong attention to detail with this car.

Also a bird flew into the paint building and took an enormous shit right on the underside of my trunk lid which had just been painted so we resealed what we thought was a sealed room. Now I get to sand the underside of the trunk and get the shit off. Thought about leaving it for the sake of a conversation piece though (as if the car isnt enough of one).

    Also great pics and thread.
