Thanks mate! Defo man, I'm always driving around northshore/city, weird that I haven't bumped into your vw yet!Originally posted by M M View PostDamn that's one clean e21. Hope to see you driving around sometime
Thanks man! I think the 1979 e21's had only two lights, Mines 82.Originally posted by slashl0l View PostI thought the 316 and 318 models came with single headlights. Nevertheless, it looks absolutely gorgeous, especially with those deep dish wheels.
Once I get my wheels, new tyres and drop it I want to slap some black vinyl over the centre one's to make it a lot more aggressive..

Look forward to seeing how this turns out.
I'll keep you posted.
Sweet man, The one's I have are 15", when I put them on they went on fine, there was however only a small gap between the arch and the top of the tyre so I'm guessing if I lower it it's going to need some spacers and the guards will need rolling. Also When I took it for a spin, the bolts were too long for the wheels, so they rubbed against the brake which sounded like shit, my mate said all I need is smaller bolts and it should be fine!Originally posted by DreydonT View PostI have these 14'' BMW Basketweaves and I mounted them and they don't fit. I do know I need spacers, just wondering if you needed spacers or had to roll or pull the fenders.

It's become apparent that this is becoming a slow build, but never the less I shall push on to get this bad boy looking the part! Due to the fact that all my pay goes towards gas for the car, I'm taking it nice and slow and starting off with the wheels. Here's a couple of pics of the wheels while the beautiful NZ sun was out. If you were wondering, I am doing a quick home job and the tyres that are currently on the BBS's will be sold in order to buy some new lower profile tyres.
enjoy..
